Hey, that's great:) Didn't mean to come off in a negative way... if I did. I have/use Chipsounds, too. It's epic.

Man, it's stuff like this that really makes me happy that Chipmusic is constantly growing:)

Did you follow the tutorial on the page that Chainsaw police created?

As an anecdote, I used to use VMWare fusion to do this, and it worked perfectly. I then used parallels and that worked for me. I then bought a drag'n'derp and that's all I need now. If those become available anymore, I'd suggest saving up for that!

I'm sorry you're having trouble, though. I've never gotten the flasher to work, either... though I'm sure it just requires a more keen knowledge of terminal.

Cool Doxic:) I hope everything's going well with you!
I love the aesthetic of this album. I know you are developed melodically;) The feeling of this album brings something more intimate to the table, I think.

Love the album art:p
Sweet album, man!
I find it interesting when artists try and legitimize their "fakebit" work by saying its "legit chip." Man, this is a great album... I couldn't give one flying butthole if it had either modern or hardware sounds.
Don't forget that the demoscene (I guess you could call it the first form of chipmusic) 'mostly' sampled real sounds, not generated stuff:)
Good work on this. The kicks are unreal!

Chipmusic has so many diverse elements other than music. These are all fantastic. It takes a long time to perfect this skill.

OOOOOoo. Thank looks awesome! Love it when local game shops host chipmusic events.
Cool! I'll try and make it out.

Here's the topic that talks about how to mod the NES to have a separate output for expansion audio (vrc6, 7). Yes, powerpak will playback the .nsf with expansion audio created in fami or mml... at least it works for me.

here's a youtube vid to help:

Also used this to make sound output stereo

Audio expansions are just one part of this badass project. I want to know more about the development of the ENIO praaaaject.

"Successful" music here is usually displayed through a release thread. I mean... if you want to share a song or two for free to give people an idea, that's also very nice. But you can always do that on Bandcamp, as well. When users see other users chiming in on something, it'll usually attract attention smile
Otherwise, sharing releases doesn't really happen anywhere else on here but in the releases section.

Reviving this thread to see what DKSTR is up to in Toronto. I need to see some shoowwwss! Guelph is boring and have found only one chipfriend.
