I've been playing the didgeridoo for years. If anyone wants to send me a track I'll didgeri on it for sure. Circular breathing, animal calls, ta-ta-ka's, the whole shebang.
I have one in Db and E I think.

did this I think in grade 12 :s. don't judge. The didgeridoo is pretty much throughout. Some of the louder stuff is at the end.

Hey man!

This is super good for your first lsdj track:) It's also crazy that nobody here really answers these things...

I don't consider myself to be a pro lsdj user, as I haven't used it in a while. My advice would be to start experimenting with panning and creating advanced instruments using more tables. Attempt to make your instruments and their arrangement more complicated! Try not to make it sound TOO busy and jumbled, but what I did was try to create better programming behind my instruments and their arrangements (their panning, application against others instruments).

This video Danimal Cannon did really helped me out:

All in all, try and make things interesting for the listener musically, not just digitally. I started this thread a while ago, to much detest and attraction, which might be able to help:

Deflemask tune (Lab Hours) starts at 11:30. Three other lsdj tunes are also presented.

Yes, there certainly is... played it along with 3 LSDJ songs. I'll try and get the video up soon when school's not so busy and post the youtube link:)

This is relevant... played a set at my uni's music festival using Deflemask projected on a big screen, drums (friend), and electric guitar (me). Played a Genesis song I made called Lab Hours.

Soft/warm arpeggios done in WAV, coupled with higher arpeggios in pulses...
I find it's best to have a very simple pulse lead, maybe 50% duty cycle. Personally, I believed it's all in the arrangement, programming and musical knowledge you possess.
Here's an example:

waaaaaaah...

But you can get into your usr folder just by hitting command-shift-g and typing in /usr/, that's a lot of unnecessary stuff

Much easier, haha. Ya'learn something new every few days...

Mac Deflemask for noobs (myself included... using SL,10.6.8):

1) Press command+shift+g, type in /usr/ (Scrotch)
2) Drop 'libSDL-1.2.0.dylib' from Deflemask_mac folder into 'lib' folder
3) Double click Deflemask unix file
4) ლ(╹◡╹ლ)

Fun fact, this is my amazing "concept art" I gave him as a reference

I AM AN AMAZING CLIENT

I'm using this as the itunes album artwork for this release.
Also... This is great! So great. It sounds so full... and I adore the crazy heavy bass/kick bits. Anyone who likes living in the moment will *love* this album.

Also... vinyl. Pleeaasse.

I wrote a few essays/articles on 8bit culture in 2nd year I think... read my paper at a conference or two.
If you're interested I'll send it your way.

Wooo!
This is going to be fun:)
