ah yea i see, I was hoping to just get a gui with all the buttons for parameters assigned and then using something like this to morph the presets:

Im new to live but I thought the workflow was
Instrument rack, with banks of 8 knobs you assign to things within the rack, and then some kind of editor that you can assign these macro knobs too. I dont understand the connection with creating a loopback to the os and then back into the daw to send clips.
Would you be ok with sharing your midines project maybe?

What's raspberry pi?
It seems cheap, how does it works?
Its basically a tiny linux computer. You need the following to run it on pi:
rasp pi
sd card
keyboard or joypad
usb midi interface
usb sound card
You can also get a 1st gen notebook for about the price of the above and have it autoboot into piggy on startup.
You dont need an auto run to stop the noise, but make sure you are doing the script to filter junk going out the serial port:

Acoustic Test Signal Generators have that kind of ability so I guess, Sweepable Noise Generator? Trash80 made a really nice gameboy papu-eque noise generator in his digitek esemble:

Yea its awesome, especially when the sound guy is going to fight your soundcheck the whole way because chipsounds are weird to him, you need all the time you can get.
