Nope just asking an honest question!

Im not sure what you mean me of all people, ive never claimed to be any kind of expert on gameboy cart development, and I guess I never understood the line that was crossed, and where it becomes something as obvious as bleep bloop debacle. If I make an eagle design that works with the same flash chips and software as a noncommercial product and sell it, do I have an obligation to make it incompatible to avoid impropriety?

Just spitting in the wind when all is said and done, sorry if you took offense.

So how is this different from the bleepcarts then, intellectual property speaking?

Exactly.. but that docking cradle looks pretty impractical.. id settle for a serial cable running to a smaller box!

Backing away slowly.

mmmmmmmmm

yeah.  combining quint with arduinoboy would be the next logical step........

max4live connectivity is the next big goal.  argh.  time to think on this.  thats a good idea.

It would be probaly best to do a separate but equal, not sure youd want to do the same code on one chip. Im thinking of something like a db9 breakout on the dmg and have a breakout with audio out, aboy with panel mounted midi jacks and quint?

Would the db9 be able to pass all those connections and the link cable stuff? Wooof....

Exactly. Doing this sort of thing live brings a level of intimacy to the show and fans get to feel a bit like they're up there with you. Also, gear heads get to see what you're using and that's always cool.

I dont think anyone wants to see what really goes down in the front row of a chipshow.
