Woohoo great news! Hope he does actually add it, but at least he's acknowledged it.

When did you send your email? I've sent 3 to him recently but hasn't replied at all.

I sent one around February and a follow-up about a week ago. Fingers crossed!

I heard back from GBC.EMU developer that he'll try to add 128k sav support in the next update.  smile

Bravo! I'm also available to test (ems64 and derp carts).

Where's all the late 2013's excitement around this project gone ? :'(

I think once people got the carts and discovered it was pretty lame that the excitement vanished.

Here's some test results for several Android game boy emus: https://www.reddit.com/r/emulation/comm … g_results/

GBC.EMU (https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta … &hl=en) scores the highest by far and it does sound extremely accurate.  But since it's based on Gambatte it only uses a 32k sav file which is not enough for LSDJ's file manager and forces you to use save states [ed. which are bogus and lame].

I've emailed the gbc.emu developer asking if it's possible to increase savs to 128k.  The email is on this page at towards the bottom: http://www.explusalpha.com/home/gbc-emu  Maybe if we all request this minor change it'll get bumped to the top of the list?

Did you ever hear back from the developer regarding 128k savs? I've not had a reply yet.

John GBC emulator seems to work ok with saving, but it doesn't work at all on my Amazon Fire TV, since I can't get my Bluetooth controller configured with it. It's fine on my Nexus 7.

Not yet. For android I use "My OldBoy!". The sound isn't perfect by any means but the file system is solid and sounds good enough to do editing or jot down ideas.

Woah, very nicely done!

Thanks!
This thing has real potential.  Hopefully it gets finished up by someone at some point.

Add compiled rom to github or share some other way?

The rom is supposed to work without the special cart hardware. Can someone with the knowledge compile it from what he's posted?

I'm sure the free songs are "kick ass".
