To busy means, well that it is to busy, that the cpu cannot play the song because it is to fast/complicated. Something else could be actually causing it but normally it is just a fast song wink

I think it is because of dirt or something, maybe you could clean it with rubbing alcohol, although that may not be a good idea..

This sounds really cool, a optional spot for lyrics and chords (etc) would be nice though smile

"Happy glitch"?

An idea: "sadNES", sad chiptune, possibly with some analog sounds and overly quite vocals, really sad y'know.

02star, I think It has a com port and a parallel port, I will look for a zip drive and a com cord. Which would be preferable?
2player, I tried that before, It didn't seems to work, I used win7 64bit. :/
lazerbeat, how would I use that? I am looking at mine and I don't think it is usb. do you mean put the floppy in it? I don't see a floppy drive either, I'MBLIND. or maybe I have a variation.

Also, I can't find pkunzip in my c: drive, is it in a subdir?

:)

Wow, thanks for pkunzip info Emar!
I have access to a semi old computer with a com port and the laptop has one to, just not my main PC.  I'll have to look for a cable, (I think?).
Thank you. smile

Okay It only seems to work on non rewritable CDs, is that true?
(By the way, windows 95 can't extract .zip files... )

Hello, I got a IBM 760XL from the thrift store and it powers on and has sound output, but I can't figure out how to get files onto it.

When I put a CD in the drive it blinks and spins a little, but if I click D drive, it says "drive not ready", there is also "A" and it says it is for floppy, but I don't see a place to insert one tongue. It has some sort of NIC with a pop out phone thingy, but we don't have dial-up.

Stuff I have available to use:( ethernet) routers and floppy discs, and a couple cables that look like VGA or serial

Edit: tried "mastering" the cd, and tried playing an audio cd, audio worked.

?

In audacity there is a plug-in called "EQ" and you can draw a little squiggle in it  (Make the left of it lower) to change the bass or otherwise smile

Hello, who won?

Great idea on paper, but the tricky parts are things like -- what happens when one or more of Song A's chain or phrase numbers are already being used in Song B; what happens when Song A's instruments don't match Song B's instruments, etc. etc.

You might could have it add, say 10(dec) until there was an unused chain, although there might not one...
