Oh wow this thread took that turn...

I almost bought a Tommy Hilfiger gameboy once but then I realized it was stupid

I got a ton off eBay a couple years ago.  I needed at least a few because I'm a modding failure and was bound to screw up a few of them though.

Europe and Japan had both white and blue I believe, I bought my whiteboy from Germany

The pinnacle of NES technique, I think.

My brains.. they're everywhere!

She applied a few techniques you tend to hear more often in modern Gameboy music, raspy vibrato on the pulse channels, I'm guessing a triangle kick using pitchbends, and noise percussion for cymbals and snare (as opposed to DPCM drums).  The VRC6 really gives the extra sound palette of saws and the polyphony needed to really make it lush sounding.   It essentially sounds like what Zef would do if he got into extended NES sounds.

So does it say "COME ON EVERYBODY" at the beginning of part II?

she wrote me on twitter and said

"t the very beginning! in this particular case, yes it's pretty much "well, let's go!" big_smile"

Looks like the article says they're all phonies anyways.  It's still pretty stupid to deep fry a cell phone case and then photograph it as art.  But I'm kind of an asshole.

My money is on cellphone case.  Figured I'd call in the experts.

Who gives a shit right?  Oh wait, I only do when you present your art as something that it's not.   I'll bet finding a $5 phone case is easier than actually getting a Gameboy right?

What are you talking about?  The Square is awesome, and the fee is 2.75% per purchase.  Meaning for a $10 CD purchase, you give them 28¢.

Guess what?  That's better than retailers pay to accept credit cards.  There are plenty of retailers that use The Square now.

The Square will send you a device for free.  If you buy one in the store, they will give you the cost of it back in your account.  Yeah, only tools use The Square...

I encourage artists to hang out at the merch table after their set, cause then if people really want to talk to you they can buy some merch first.

THIS THIS THIS.  Every time people sell merch for me I sell dick.  I've had several AWESOME shows where I sold almost no merch because I wasn't at the merch booth and other people were selling for me, even when I pushed the merch hard from the stage.

I'm trying to find ways to make my merch sales more consistent, so I can budget better when I travel or tour

I thought this thread was about a sweet time signature. (Akuden Densetsu - Overture)
