jpeg
Yeah, you'd be better off saving them as *.PNG or *.GIF; that'll guarantee crisp and unaltered colors.
the lines looks a bit rough, specially the black outline and shadows. Other that that, try moar moar... and of course PLEASE dont use JPG for pixel art, youre distroying it by doing that!
To be clear, all my pixel art is exported as a png or bmp, but for some reason Photobucket hosts it as a JPG. Any suggestions on image hosts that DON'T do that?
Also, UI, do you mean I should use more pixels per scale of my subject? Most of my work is on a 100 x 100 pixel canvas. I definitely don't like the long/jagged lines, but I'm also enjoying having everything on a small scale work with 8-bit in Graphics Gale. I've been wondering what the desired number of pixels is. Any tips would help!
Edit: Just read about the 6/3/2/1 rule for curved lines!

Wiz Wars recently relocated, but I'm sure there's some others out here.

Two beautiful tunes come to mind. "Recovery" by FearOfDark is wonderfully bittersweet... it sounds like a story of being completely heartbroken before finding the way to healing and forgiveness. "A Party Without You" by Pixelh8 is another very sad song. That album was also based on true stories, apparently.
This is beautiful. Does FOD have an album?

This isn't really representative of my actual original tunes, but thought it'd be funny to do something like this.

My 8-bit band, Here Between You Me, will be having its debut performance at the AM2 Anime Convention at the Anaheim Convention Center. It's a free convention, so my performance, including the other bands performing at the Summer Festival Stage will be free to watch.

Re: LSDJ Glitch: One of my songs got trashed/jumbled up out of nowhere (3 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
LSDJ probably didn't boot properly or the Game Boy went off while this song was playing. At least these are two of the reasons the same thing happened to me several times.
You can prevent this if you use stable LSDJ versions. Also, make backups regulary.
Ahhh, figures.
Yeah I'm going to spend tonight recomposing off a backup I made. Thanks!

Decided to fire up a track I haven't touched in about 2 weeks. When I go into each phrase, some notes are deleted, different instruments are lined up with the wrong notes.
ALL THE OTHER SONGS ARE FINE.
Any idea what could have caused this?
My guess it's just a track that didn't recover from the (GB) battery dying during one session with my band. But usually I fix that problem with a quick reset.
