ant1... you just don't realize 'TIS TEH MUSIC OF TEH FUTURE! hahahaha
yeah it's not a good idea to put special signs into a url. in theory it works but in practise it mostly doesn't.
btw what software do you recommend for digi atari 8bit composing?
listening to this right now... it's funking amazing!!!
ok, here's what i think: considering for you having worked with lsdj only for a couple of months, this is pretty impressive work. also some of the melodies are pretty impressive, especially on "The Memory's We Made" (that's aweful grammar though, my friend) and "Lost" (my favourite track of the album).
on the downside, you see there's already a lot of music like this (ie fast happy blippy lsdj pop) already out there on the web and people are getting bored with it. if you want to continue in this style, you basically need to become... really good. so generally you want to be more unique, i guess. for example, you could go for more conceptional beats (like on "Lost") but there's also some things you can improve on the technical side of things.
Let's take "Freedom", for example. Song progression is ok and the melody is beautiful, but does it really carry on a beat like this? Also, try polishing the sounds a bit more, eg put more variation. ah yeah and don't ever use the BRK sample unless you want to make fun of it (and you'll have to try very hard for that considering some previous works by the tin foil hat brigade )
worst track is "LittleSound DanceFloor#1" i think. i think you kinda put it as a filler... don't do that man. only release tracks that you are 100% convinced of (or at least 99% )
well anyway thanks for sharing this, don't be depressed because of my critique & keep up teh bit spirit!
edit: damn, i'm complaining about other people's grammar and can't get it right myself
i recommend unreal speccy emulator. beeper sound emulation is still far from being perfect, but at least it's significantly better than on other spectrum emulators.
here's a little ep to shorten the wait till my next full album is released which will probably happen some time in the year 2127 i guess.

welcome yerz!
damn, how long did it take him to fiddle together that rap on "I don't Wish You"?
yeah i definately recommend this location. one of the best places to go in milano. played there with the micromilano crew in january, it was an awesome night!
why would we want that we already have ritter sport
anyway we are doing a micromusic get-together on the last weekend of july, so i'm afraid we won't do another party in august.
so, if you want to do smth. in berlin, better talk to the guys at bleepstreet. ie. i'm going to meet with them sometime this week so i'll let them know about this.
Vytautas, i'm working on a long list of feature requests and bug reports for you. but since i'm pretty much a linux noob this takes a little time. i'm sure you'd appreciate some error msgs along with your bug reports, also i need to sort out which bugs are reproducable and which ones are "accidents" or bad configuration on my side. besides i don't work with neil every day since i've got many projects
so, you'll be hearing from me soon. but sorry i don't want to sign up to your google group since i have an allergy against google
ed: btw you never got back to me about the matilde tracker manual html to pdf conversion?
ed2: and of course, welcome to chipmusic.org
Ary (get dat lunch) wrote:i bet you there will be more gossip about it on chipmusic than on 8bc haha
Well... http://8bitcollective.com/forums/viewto 49&p=1
8bc wins hand down on quantity, but we win on quality.
aww don't say that, they had some epic lols http://8bitcollective.com/forums/viewto 53#p311553
anyway, this is all very interesting to me. 8bcdrama enters a new round, i'd say. respect nitro, and thanx for keeping us informed about this.
shipping is in fact a bit steep, especially on large quantities. as rg said, it'd be more fun to have them printed locally and it could actually save quite a bit of money.
@8gb thanx for the link, i completely missed out on that "scandal"
I cannot stand the quality with which Retinascan has produced my work.
sorry for OT, but care to elaborate on that?
