Reason? Bass and kick waveforms can be chosen independently and you can also make use of the PU1 sweep setting.

Will you be able to house this in a DMG case?

Has anyone used a European PAL C64 in the states with a step up transformer?
What I wonder is if the difference of the utility frequency will have any negative effect.

In the LSDj tables you cant use absolute note pitches as you can in other trackers. So i.e., it's not possible to have a BD+Bass instrument like that. What you can do is use two instruments and speed up the phrase by using a groove with fewer ticks per step.

What type of USB cart is it? I'm curious since you can buy a new 64m one for $38 (€30).
Also, the manual is for LSDj version..?

Combine with http://wiki.littlesounddj.com/ChordsHowTo for a full harmony upgrade.

I'm following this development with great excitement.
I do wonder what the odds are that Pulsar will be able to sync to some external source. with a sync feature I'd be happy to donate a bunch.

See you there.

Hence the battery should be replaced regularly, at an interval of every year or so at least, considering how fast they drain when used with LSDJ.

It's funny; the original cart I bought in 2001 or so is still running strong without battery replacement.

Yep, pretty much sums up the current status of sync.

I have been swapping PMs with Batsly about this stuff recently but don't expect any major announcements just yet. I will strive to get this working though as it was exciting to see NTRQ & LSDJ in sync, even though back then it was a little flaky.

Just remembered I don't think I ever posted up the video of it working did I?

I'll fix that later tonight when I get home.

Sounds exciting!
I'm thinking that if you're able to have a stable serial communication through the game port it should be quite possible to have the NES work as sync slave. And that would be awesome!

Will Pulsar feature a sync option?
When reading the "10 Blargg Bootstrap USB Cartridge" thread it sounds as if it's possible to achieve via a game port.

I really like the pitchbend + arpeggio that you showed in your video. something I've been thinking about myself.

Regarding nested tables; I think that only makes sense, in LSDj at least, if the main table calling other tables is set in instrument screen to step mode.

How could I be so naive and think that this forum would be more civilized and mature than 8bc. hmm
