I'm gonna pull some sleeves in Belgium, dammit. Do you know audiotist?

I do, yeah. He's actually playing the Berlin date as well! Thanks, let me know if you have any luck.

This is still happening! Late call for filling empty dates: 9th, 10th & 11th July are still free, despite my best efforts. If anyone in Germany, France or Belgium can suggest somewhere to play, that would be wonderful. I am open to:

  • Filling a random slot on a bill, anywhere

  • Coming to your house to play Game Boys through a stereo and high-five your friends all night long

  • Busking for bad kicks

  • Basically anything that allows me to play music & meet local cool guys, and not feel like an aimless drifter in a foreign land.

If you can help make this happen, please get in touch! Contact details as in first post.

Early Germany & late Netherlands dates are in hand - news to follow soon. Sycamore Drive: Thanks for the support smile

Huge. All of this. I hope there are physical posters so I can steal one.

3. A means of transferring files between the C64 and your Computer
-There are a few ways in which this can be done. The most convenient of which are really expensive or impossible to find. The most cost effective route is to buy a C64 floppy drive and to splice your own cord. Note: A normal floppy drive will not work. Also, I posted the link to make the cord in the post above so I won't repeat it here.

I note this link mentions X1541 cables but only the parallel port versions. Thought I should mention, there's also the XU1541 which is USB based: http://www.commodore16.com/index.php/co … u1541.html Probably a better option given parallel ports are pretty rare these days. Also it's fairly cheap and I've found it to be very reliable. Hope that helps!

PM sent.

Amazing stuff. Hearty congratulations & good luck to Greig for the semi-final. Live TV performance on the 10th!

and this artwork is the best.

Agreed. I want a big poster of the cover.

I register my interest in an old school MIDI version. LGPT on GP2x > piggy=>midi interface > GenMDM would be great.

Your translation work is very much appreciated. This is honestly one of the best series of reviews and retrospectives I've seen on gaming, so I'm glad you're willing to translate it to English.

Seconded. I really enjoy this series. Thanks so much for taking the time to translate it and share it with us non-Russian speakers.

We used LSDJ as our drum/noise core in Beats of Rage, with guitar, Cynthcart & vocals on top. Our system: keep Game Boy really high in the mix, out front & in monitors, and try to keep up.

Oh man, I wish I'd known about this earlier. Playing gig in Dundee same day, sickening. Would have loved to attempt Birmingham (afternoon) > London (evening) double strike.

Sweet deal! I would snap this up if I didn't already have a backlog of under-used machines. Where can I buy more free time from?
