Jazzmarazz, do you think I can ship you a handful of my cartridge connectors so that you can include them in the bundle when you ship out your PCBs?

This!
And if its USB?
Anybody know if this works with old EMS 32m carts? If so I'd be down for one.
I just tried to flash 32M carts yesterday with a flasher that is the same design as this and it did not work.
It can identify the data on the cart but can not read or write to it.
To my understanding and research the 32M EMS carts only work with the old style transferrer and software. The software is designed to use hardware that reads through LPT ports.

Re: DMG CPU Versions + LSDj Revisited (13 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
I've got a CPU-06, my noise channel cuts out half the time when I use shape/transpose. I can't use noise kicks without them cutting out. Could just be mine though.
It could just be that it wasn't reported before in the last link or brought up in other posts. I will make an annotation.
04 and 05 are fine in my experience.
The specific problem with 02s and 03s is sample playback.
Thanks Matt!

There was a thread awhile ago about this.
The earlier versions of the DMG CPU don't play nice with the WAV channel, especially with sample kits.
Known CPU models that have been giving people trouble with LSDj:
CPU-01
CPU-02
CPU-03
Known CPU models that work well with LSDj:
CPU-04
CPU-05
CPU-06
CPU-07
CPU-08
Has anyone else had trouble with other models of the DMG CPU and LSDj?

Excellent. I only meant external hot glue use. Gluing the wire bases is a good idea when you can't use a releasable connector.
I refrain from using hot glue on anything outside of the case or shell.
Going to hand file the transfer pak flush to the back shell of the gameboy then use small diameter philip's head bolts, washers, lock washers and nuts on the existing mounting points of the transfer pak on the back shell. I try to make everything look like it came "factory".

Clever, clever! Where will you be mounting the switch? Do you plan on hardwiring your music cartridge to the MMC as well?
I have a megamemory card as well (since childhood) and the only mod I planned for it was to add USB. If you look closely enough, the board has all of the required footprints for hooking it up. The only reason its still on the project-backburner is because of driver software....
Going to run wires and mount the switch the to Gameboy case hopefully next to the Gameboy power switch. I'm going to be mounting half of a N64 Transfer Pak to the back of the Gameboy case and run wires to the Mega Memory Card. No hard wiring of any cartridges themselves to the gameboy.
So it will be N64 Transfer Pak ---> Mega Memory Card ---> DMG-01 Rear PCB.
After seeing Boddah's post about his Frankenboy it reminded me of one of NeX's DMGs I saw a few years ago. I had a Mega Memory Card laying around and had the day off of work so I decided to get down!
