All right cool I meant like a dancy climax. I was just wondering how to go about adding a drop in LSDJ. I was just wondering how you fine people go about adding one, because I have never even thought about attempting one. Any advice would be appreciated.

make a few different wav instruments, four on the floor kick/snare pattern, and do rhythmic alternation of the different cool wav+pulse sounds.

I mean...what sort of drop are you talking about? Like a pitch bend down sorta drop, or the more modern usage of the term, which would be a dance-y climax of the buildup?

All I can say is listen to recent dance music like Zedd, Feed Me, Mord Fustang, Skrillex, Noisia and stuff.

My pocket is gorgeous and worth the money I spent on it, but she's quiet because of the prosound and eats batteries like crazy. I'm working on my perfect, favorite DMG at the moment smile supposed to be über durble

Change instrument parameters, melodies, song order, dj mixer effects, other live instruments, seamlessly "dj" between songs, dance, drink something

He's asking for criticism in this thread, the others a release thread...but it's the same material. I'd say close the release thread, have this one be it.

Live mode, play a channel whilst recording. Do the same over and over for the rest of them.

CC: Don't start with covers

I disagree...Covering songs helps you learn the program more because you don't really have to worry about getting the "right" sounding notes, develops your ear and gets you used to inputting rhythms, and gives you some sort of satisfaction for a first song because it's already something that you like.

Example, my first LSDJ song did none of that for me haha. I should have started with a cover.

Well, I thought it was funny. Just too long.

Cool thread bro

I think length is entirely dependent upon the musical material, to be honest. If you have a theme that keeps developing and developing, hell, let it develop as much as you want it to. If it's not developing much but the instrumentation is keeping things interesting, just cut it short if it gets repetitive--if not, let it grow. Length should be a byproduct of musical fluidity and arrangement, not the other way around.

Couldn't say it better myself.

But honestly, it is fun to challenge yourself too by trying to smash as much good music into 1:00 that you can

Can OP please rename this thread to PANDA ORGY and can the mods just allow it to be the dedicated "senseless banter" thread from now on?
