We are not worth of Saskrotch's beats or Bit Shifter's melodies........
Wait....
I just realized. Imagine what you'd do for a Saskrotch/Shifter split. Try to think of some kind of limit. None exists.

Lmms happen to be one of them?
Hmm...maybe try cleaning the contacts with a little bit of alcohol and a cutip?
I feel ya man haha. When I first registered, I saw Saskrotch online and I died a little inside. Next time I came on and there was Bit Shifter and I couldn't believe my eyes.
I'm gonna guess it's the reader because if it were a contact issue, the carts wouldn't work in the gameboy, and if you have data to back up, the battery's fine. Maybe try a new reader?
Beautiful
Well I'm kind of trying to recreate Thretris's monster mod gameboy, so I'm gonna need a normal size one for the guitar knob. Do you think jamming it in the back would work?
I'll give it a listen soon. I clicked on this because it's called Disconnect, and I thought it was Chipzel's Disconnected haha. If you haven't listened to that, do that now.
Really? Nice! Is that the program you're using?
Lol yeah sure. Actually, you should find a gif of some stick figures dancing and project it onto some kind of screen and do that.
Or you could go up there and be like "Yo guys, I'ma start me some Mario Land" and put in LSDJ and be like "Woah, crap, you guys see this? That's not mario..." Then lay down some fat beat or whatever and get really into it, and at the end of it all be like "So yeah, 8 bit music isn't all about video games...you can make sick stuff with this hardware, unrelated to mario."
spam, look at all that wow
No no no, what you must do is buy some kind of big paper or screen or whatever, draw two stick figures, and a poorly drawn gameboy, and play the show from behind that.
Hahaha chubby dip. Sounds like some kind of potato chip accessory.
@celsius: Oh silly you I totally understand, I used to do that all the time on this one forum before I learned my lesson
@ninjaspew: Well, basically I mean to have it more...there. For me, a fast, punching drum track really gets me, but that's not right for everyone. However, most people agree that a driving drum track really adds to a great song. Try throwing in a traditional DnB beat somewhere toward the middle of the song
Edit: Traditional DnB beat at 2:57 in this video...don't worry about what he's talking about, I'm pretty sure you're not using this program.
How common are chip shows in Australia? Hahaha
Sounds great! Maybe add some more present percussion?
