During play:

down - speed up the song (useful for getting to the relevant part more quickly)
A - jump to song start
B - jump to pattern start

---

Can anyone see how the shuffle is achieved in 'ORLEE'?
The speed commands seem to be empty.

One more thing, don't keep the SONG INFO on because it can will mess up menu navigation (and garble the song info display as well).

Yeah, press SELECT for the main menu and knock yourself out.
Gotta love the fake oscilloscopes and zomg plasma!

I just got word from Smiker that he is preparing a major update for m4gtracker! \o/

He recreated the whole program in C++ giving it a much cleaner code structure this time.
Don't know when we can expect a new build tho.

I just found out about this (well not quite, I found it on my hard drive, but apparently I've forgotten all about it):
http://jeremyevers.com/?page_id=74
Didn't have the time to properly check it out yet, but it looks promising.
Has anyone tried this?

edit:
Seems like the author worked on Psycle and some VSTs as well.

nitro2k01 edit: Fixed the outdated link.

Smiker posted this last month:  http://8bc.org/music/smiker/Purple+Motion+M4G-Tracker/

Quote from the comments:  "Done with M4g-Tracker. Last version was a bit buggy, and i got busy doing some research on other fields, I had some life, regained strenght, then continued the project. For those who think it died. M4G Tracker Still Lives!!!!!! >: D"

for a second when he said 'done with m4g tracker' i thought he meant he finished it, instead of meaning he wrote the track with it. shucks.

I thought he meant he was done with trying to finish it tongue
Phew!

whats going on with this?

Nothing, as far as I know sad
Last time I heard from Smiker in late January.
Come to think of it, he did mention that he found himself a girlfriend, which possibly explains the hiatus.

I'll gently prod him with an email to see what's up.

the irony of a chipmusic forum talking about pokemon

Shit, I guess it's still better than Pokemon talking about chipmusic.
Perhaps move the thread to the nursery section.
