That is odd. Did you try the demo songs that come with the program? Any arps in them?

Now we just got to have a MILF command.
Any idea what it could do? MIDI LFO?

Two sensible ideas I think:
FTYP 00xx command - filter type.
The equivalent of the filter type setting in instrument editor, so you can change the band between low/band/high pass
That option to 'bookmark' steps in the song/live screen that LSDJ has (by pressing B three times).
Would work wonders to help easily navigate around a long song, here's a mockup:

<MAP src="key:0:space" dst="/mixer/volume/increase" />
<MAP src="key:0:left shift" dst="/mixer/volume/decrease" />
</MAPPINGS>

In piggy you tap the two buttons that aren't used for volume up and down.
It could be that in the system settings the volume is set to 0?
Cheers for the tip but it doesn't see to work. I'm tapping X and Y like mad and it's still at max vol (in DIngux)

So I got my piggy running on a Dingoo finally. I'm using the 1.3l_50 ghetto build (gotta love those names)
I've got some problems though...
On DIngux,
I can't poweroff, ever. Even with BLEOs zImages that are suppsoed to work. I've got the 9338 LCD, not sure if relevant. So, I have to poke-reset, boot into official OS and then power off the unit.
So, I installed Opendinux, which came with it's own set of problems
No sound at all coming from Piggy. Tried older stable build, same thing.
Is there a way to autostart on opendingux?
Also, is there a way to control the sound volume of the dingoo? I read somewhere it's START+UP/DOWN but it's not working in piggy.
Thanks in advance

That means you can't render parts of the song into samples/disk.
You can save samples from it

Anybody know of some nice electric guitar samples (rock or heavy metal sounds) I can use with piggy?
Go over to weeklybeats and check the forums. Pselodux released a self-made metal guitar set for Renoise.
Exporting samples is a quick thing to do, and free version of Renoise has almost no limitations so you have no excuse

Re: Where to begin with a C64 (13 replies, posted in Commodore Computers)
If you want to use the real c-64 then I would STRONGLY suggest getting a 1541-ii ultimate.
As for software the most commonly used trackers today are goattracker (pc), sid-wizard (native) and Sid Duzz It (native)
Personally I would recommend defMON (native) but it is far from being the easiest to get into
You will want to learn about the SID chip first.
Things like hardrestart, adsr bugs, etc. http://csdb.dk forums are a good place to do that, after you've read through ant1's thread linked above.
