Which platform do you guys prefer?
Back when I was a frequent LGPT user I thought the PSP had the best sound output and a nice screen. Quite bad battery time though?

I've heard of people using the Dingoo - but it had some audio issues, no? Seems like a cheap and small option.
Never heard of anyone using the Canoo (or even owning one for that matter) - why get that one over a PSP?

Kind of aching to get back into LGPT on some real handheld.

the only reason for you to buy a psp is to play psx games on the bus (that's why I bought it).

it sucks big time with sample loading time. Yeah, the screen is bigger, the shoulder buttons are way better, but if you're gonna buy a handheld for lgpt only, go for dingoo. And the sound rocks! Subway Sonicbeat and I use it a lot live. With good p.a.'s and a subwoofer, you're gonna tear the house down.

But I didn't like the vocals of You & Me (which sounds like Unicorn Dream Attack)

enough reason for me to download it. UDA is the only chip project with vocals I dig (SUCK IT RIZZO)

thanks a lot nitro! I didn't want to waste my wave channel, so I was figuring a way to use the noise. The only way I could figure it would play only one step was with a K01 command, but that wasn't enough on a lower bpm. Putting the O command on the table was the genius step for making a perfect click, thanks!

thanks! gonna try that later and post the results.

There's more to the show: random jokes, parodies of some brazilian tv shows and hot girls. And stupid jokes. They even do a sketch trying to imitate Jackass. I find it funny.

Wrong. It's actually an important piece in the huge political gear of making brazilian people even dumber and more stupid.

The only way I got it to sync with LSDJ is if I had one DMG playing ONLY the pulse. It was also really picky about what kind of pulse it would take - I ended up making clicks in the noise channel that it liked.

mind if I ask you how did you make this noise instrument for the clicks? I tried a bunch of different settings, some of them work great, but when I change the BPM everything fucks up.

got myself a monotribe and I can't get enough of it. So much fun.

dammit kurt, do something better than watching this piece of crap.

I don't know why, but the osx key mapping described on the lgpt wiki doesn't seem to be right. I searched the piggy mailing list and found this one:

<MAPPINGS>
<MAP src="joy:0:1-" dst="/event/up" />
<MAP src="joy:0:1+" dst="/event/down" />
<MAP src="joy:0:0-" dst="/event/left" />
<MAP src="joy:0:0+" dst="/event/right" />
<MAP src="but:0:3" dst="/event/a" />
<MAP src="but:0:0" dst="/event/b" />
<MAP src="but:0:2" dst="/event/a" />
<MAP src="but:0:1" dst="/event/b" />
<MAP src="but:0:5" dst="/event/rshoulder" />
<MAP src="but:0:7" dst="/event/rshoulder" />
<MAP src="but:0:4" dst="/event/lshoulder" />
<MAP src="but:0:6" dst="/event/lshoulder" />
<MAP src="but:0:9" dst="/event/start" />
<MAP src="but:0:8" dst="/tempo/tap" />
</MAPPINGS>

did a mapping.xml with that and now it works!

daaaamn!
