I'm having a hard time trying to map my joystick buttons to lgpt on osx.

I followed the instructions on the wiki:

open up the terminal OK

go wherever you downloaded piggy and on the command line type:

./LittleGPTracker.app/Contents/MacOS/LittleGPTracker -DUMPEVENT=YES OK

hit the buttons you want to use and copy the values piggy spits out OK

2) make a mapping file OK

Here's the mapping.xml file I created:

<MAPPINGS>
<MAP src="joy(0)::1=-32768" dst="/event/up" />
<MAP src="joy(0)::1=32767" dst="/event/down" />
<MAP src="joy(0)::1=-32768" dst="/event/left" />
<MAP src="joy(0)::0=32767" dst="/event/right" />
<MAP src="but(0):3" dst="/event/a" />
<MAP src="but(0):0" dst="/event/b" />
<MAP src="but(0):5" dst="/event/rshoulder" />
<MAP src="but(0):7" dst="/event/rshoulder" />
<MAP src="but(0):4" dst="/event/lshoulder" />
<MAP src="but(0):6" dst="/event/lshoulder" />
<MAP src="but(0):9" dst="/event/start" />
</MAPPINGS>

But lgpt fails to recognize my joystick. Anything I'm doing wrong?

thanks!

You never said that to me! Next time you will be bothered by my whining voice over your stereo!

I fucking told you. And you'd have remembered that if you weren't hanging with teh Glicério crackheads all the time.

Don't worry, people always say that to me but my favorite vocalist is Mark E Smith, so I kinda take that as a compliment.

Ah c'mon Kurt. Let The Fall out of this. smile This argument "dylan sings shit and look where he is now" is a bunch of crap. And I already offered my home studio for recording and processing your vocals, so enough with teh weening excuses!

Fuck! Didnt know that.

just sent you a mail, cabrón.

Hello,

I am going for an Europe trip on 11/11/11 (yes, I´m all for numbers) and I´ll stay until 12/02/11. It´s mainly for vacations (after 7 years of non-stop work) and easing my obsession on vinyl records and the Cold War.

But also, I´d love to get some Pulselooper gigs.

My schedule is:

11/11 ~ 11/20 Berlin
11/21 ~ 11/24 Köln
11/25 ~ 12/02 England (Milton Keynes, London, Manchester & Sheffield)

These are the towns I´ll be staying. But I could easily travel to other nearby cities if we can fix something.

I have two gigs in Berlin and Köln, TBA. But I want more of your soundsystem and your beers.

Write me if you want some brazilian loops at your place: pulselooper[at]gmail[dot]com

Cheers!

What this I don't even. But I like the sound of it.

So the ALSA supports MIDI? Am I wrong? If so, is the way to go with the Dingoo!

As far as I read, some emulators are not running there yet, but if Piggy runs with it I don't give a damn cause I use two sepparate SD cards (one with games, one with the piggy).
This looks like a beast to me.

man, really... forget midi for dingoo.

I guess it´ll interest most people here: http://xlrecordings.com/2011/09/08/toda … yl-sampler

*Ok trance is real, but I've never ever listened to it. Seriously, wtf is this garbage?

some old trance tracks are good. the problem is with psytrance/full-on. they're like the brostep of trance.

what do you mean, "can't mix them well"?

were you stoned when you made the song? (I can't check that on the project file).

I really recommend to everyone fresh to piggy to make a one-sample song on it. It is by far the best way to learn table tricks.

Looking foward to a second one-sample comp by hexawe! The last one was so much fun.

awesome release! so raw, so fucked up. really love it.
