the serial cable could be a bit of a pain (not for my good ol' desktop PC), but it is cheap and it works. Shipping was fast too.

You don't need a serial cable. If you have an NDS, you can flash this cartridge using that and some software. I recommend this cart, but it's not gonna be good for massive stuff since it's only 128Mbit.

The EZFlash IV seems to the the good one, otherwise there's that cart that has extra chips inside for emulation, what is the name??

damn, that's great. gotta try that.

yeah, Piggy fucked this james-something guy right in the ass.

sooooo good!

I gotta confess: I'll always hate the caanoo analog stick for piggyin'.

modifying a dmg before start making music on it: sign of the times.

when it comes the time to make some sega music, this will be my weapon of choice.

Awesome! It's a sexy price too haha. What channels should I use for recording the gameboys? What kind of cables do I need?

you'll need two 3.5mm > 1/4'' stereo cables for your gameboys and a 3.5mm > RCA stereo cable for outputting the audio mixdown to your computer. Pretty simple, pretty cheap. Be sure to buy your cables in a place you can trust. I have the same cables since 2008 and they never gave me any problems (they smell beer though)

e.s.c. : Oh that sucks. Really? What kind of EQ would you recommend?

InactiveX: I asked my stepdad (who is a DJ) and had no idea what a send nor return was, so I'm guessing they don't.

PULSELOOPER: I'm probably gonna stick with the 802 due to buget concerns, so that comment made me happy!

yeah man, I only use the 1002 for studio work, recording me and my mates playing shit live. But I love the 502 for travelling, it's so tiny and I never use more than two channels anyway. You'll be happy with your 802!

my two behringer mixers (xenyx 502 and 1002) never let me down.

lets be honest, how many of us actually will use piggy for mainly midi? its nice to have the option but i find that lgpts power and point of interest comes from being a mobile tracker that you can make music everywhere with. carrying around midi driven equipment kinda defeats the purpose to me.
a lot of you forget that there is a port with midi out that you never even bother to use. if you really insist on using lgpt for midi there is a windows 32 version. if your going to talk about just focusing on one port why not that one? it already has it and probably would have saved you the money of buying a psp. that port has been out waaaaaay longer then the psp has been too.

win version midi doesnt even work  as well as on the gp2x, for one thing

I had all kinds of trouble with gp2x/midi: midi not being recognized, lgpt freezing (only when outputing midi clock), etc.

on the other hand, I'm putting my faith in the caanoo for this matter.

I think it would be nice if all of us Piggers could consolidate on one platform.

I politely disagree with you.
