I have a Toshiba Libretto and AT2 always crash on me when trying to insert notes on the main screen (but it works fine when tweaking with instrument parameters though).

The solution was to use DOSBOX on my macbook to create the songs and them playing them live on the Libretto.

My regular job pays for food, clothing, bills and sake. But fortunately, about 30% of my gigs are paid (and that's a big thing in Brazil). This is the money I invest on gear and I plan to put on a 7'' single in the future. So yes, money is necessary.
