I have a .rar of all the classic Amiga sample libraries (ST-00 to ST-B6) could upload somewhere or work out where I originally dl'ed them from and chuck a link here. They're RAW format so you'll need something like Goldwave to prep them for LSDJ.

Hey guys, I'm planning to get a usb floppy drive soon which will solve this issue, but in the meantime could anyone explain how to transfer files from PC to ST with a null modem serial cable? I have one which goes from serial to USB. I seem to have Zmodem installed on the ST but I'm not sure if this only works with Linux. If it works with windows could anyone direct me to the pc software needed to make the connection, or any better solutions? Cheers.

Oh for the 3 channel comp it has to be SNDH? I think I can export a .mod then convert it to SNDH with Gwem's converter (although I havn't yet worked out how to use it). Musicmon 2.5 has an option to export SNDH but when I've done this I havn't been able to open it in MaxYMiser so I assume it doesn't work properly?

I'd be up for submitting something. I use Musicmon 2.5 on a 520 STFM. Would it work to make a track as I normally would with this and save it as a .mod ? I usually save as .sng

Bloody awesome! Will defs give these ago when they're up for download. Are there many plugins available for octamed, like chippy synth plugins perhaps? If so where might I find them?

I've bent a bunch of stuff but the only thing I've really bothered to record is my Yamaha DD-50. It now has 8 glitch switches and 3 pots which trigger distortion, fade in pretty pad sounds and cause random bleeping. I HIGHLY recommend the DD series as they have big sexy circuit boards with heaps of good bends on pretty much all the IC's (one of which is a YM chip of some sort).

Here are some recordings from the first bending session I had with it ages ago: http://www.myspace.com/yamahahah/music
and here are some jams with my chipnoise act, starring the DD-50: http://soundcloud.com/athrocycle-1

I've also started attempting to write tracks for it with my A1200 using octamed and an amiga midi console, this was my first attempt at this: http://soundcloud.com/skint-1/yamaha-dd … 0-midi-jam

The chip and it's sound are the MEDIUM, you can make ANY genre with chip sounds just like with any other medium/instrument. Although I prefer things that don't fit into genres at all.

AHX is the shit. Patric C's stuff on 8bc is incredible. If you want more atypical AHX stuff you should check out Anakirob's tracks here: http://www.trebledeathsystem.com/user/57/tracks . Really filthy bassy craziness. Also I just uploaded my first AHX track here: https://8bc.org/music/Vicious+Cyclist/Shmarg+%28AHX%29/ . I made this a while ago though and have learnt how to use it a lot better since then.
