The problem with flashing this onto carts would be transferring data off of it. I don't really think you can unless you have some dev tools. It's just like with a blue EMS cart and LSDJ, if you don't have some sort of transferrer, you're fucked!

tongue I'd cough up the money for a powerpak just because it'd save a lot of time and hassle!

Either that or buy a USB gamepad and use an NES emulator, that's about as close to the real thing as you'll get.

A lot of my samples are just from random places on the web and old tracker modules.

I think the best samples are from modules wink.

Make it into a hammer because you could beat the fuck out of anyone with a hammer.

Seems really neat for live usage and stuff but probably a bit of a pain in the butt for some stuff like DPCM samples.''

Famitracker will still probably be a lot faster to compose with, but this definitely looks like fun to play around with. wink hopefully it'll work fine with NES emulators so I can bring it around with me.

We don't like sports.

Personally, I think the dark grey around posts and stuff is a bit too dark, but it's not that big a deal.

The design really reminds me of the blipfest '09 site.

Seeing as most basic chip sounds are just simple waveforms, a sampler might be handy.

Oh, and you can get some sega genesis-ish sounds out of MDA's DX10 and VOPM is pretty good (though for me, VOPM is awfully quiet compared to other VSTs I have.)
