a bit of quality control by the artists couldn't hurt.

I try, but I don't get much critique at all.

As far as I'm concerned my music is pretty good and I listen to it every so often.

I THINK on 1-bit specific trackers all the channels get compressed, and for it to be true 1-bit you'd have to use only one channel in lgpt, along with what you said.

See:

(But I could be wrong)

i downloaded a fair few decent records this year. but i agree releasing a record per month on your bandcamp is retarded, but still, the original post kind of sounds patronizing and makes it seem like you have your head stuck up your arse...... its not like everything has to be compared to a 4mat release, and not everyone drools over novelty Ant1 snippets.. Me ? well of course, I love ducks and 4mat is pretty much the don, and to be fair inpuj is a definate go to for good releases, and probably one of my favourite labels in existence - but there are people releasing nice stuff other than all you old timers : P

I was gonna post in this thread eventually but hey look someone already shares my opinion perfectly.

What IS funny though, is people's reactions.

That feel when i tought this was a funtography compilation ;_;

I'd suggest everyone submitting a gb camera picture along with their songs, except maybe not all of us have a means to back up our gb camera saves.

Wow what a bunch of negative responses. I've only ever seen one or two streams, here are my two cents:

Streams are pretty cool and are definitely a testament to how alive this scene is, especially considering how a lot of us can't make it to physical chip shows, and our progress in creating a scene around us is very slow. Plus it beats idling on IRC.

I don't mind the quality and I don't mind the delays, let's be realistic, "physical" shows have a delay while arists set up.

The variety webshow idea doesn't appeal to me because I kind of just tab out and listen until some really good music draws me back to look at what the artist is doing, but I can see how a lot of people could enjoy that.

Nothing wrong with bedroom performances, but if you're just gonna sit down and press play, then what's the point of a video stream.

And finally I agree that curation needs to be more editorial.

Maybe if the typical problems of clipstream and voidcore can be dealt with streams would be awesome. They shouldn't be a weekly thing, and they shouldn't take center stage, but they're still a great thing.

Don't believe the purists, not all nintendocore is bad.

Mine didn't even bring the manual, I've got everything included in the picture but that.

I checked most of the apps and there's nothing silly or noteworthy, will check for music or other media later.

And yeah, it does have SD capabilities but no manufacturer's ID or anything. It's like these people didn't want anyone to know these tablets were even manufactured.

just install apps if you can transfer them to memory via USB

I can do this, or transfer them via the SD card, but I don't know what the appropriate format for apps is. I got a .jar for opera browser online but I don't know how to run it, just selecting it on the file browser tells me there's no app that can open that file format.

Here are some specs for the actual m003, mine has a few differences like the fact that it DOES have a camera. I'm about to try to install one of those custom firmwares at the end of the page, will report back later.

I recently came into possession into what seems to be an aPad M003 running "android 2.1". I'm not sure because it came in a plain white box that only says "Made in China" on the side; no dox, and on the back just says

"ID no:
M-003"

And some other voltage specs.

The OS on this is HORRIBLY slow, I can't even connect to most protected wifi networks, and the included packages are really bad software as well. The hardware makes me think it can be usable, and may even have some musical possibilities, but a few searches on google and the slatedroid forums don't really help me as to what would be the best (preferrably really slim) OS to run on this and make this usable. I'm pretty good with technology but have zero experience with tablets of any kind. Just wondering if any of you could help me out? Here's a picture of it I found online, I'd take one myself but it looks just like this.

I used an exacto knife and a lighter, the result is ugly, but the jack's little ring covers up the hole anyway so unless you have one of those premade prosound boards where the jack's just like the standard dmg jack, it doesn't have to be perfect, just don't crack the plastic and it'll look like this:

I was browsing a bunch of related pages the other day and somehow found myself on that same page. I assumed it was just a tool to make a multirom that had some limited and gimmicky multiple .sav support and I didn't even try it and moved on. Good luck on your endeavors, I think I read something about lsdj using the entire memory for it's .sav so it can't really be used with this but who knows!

Awkward Terrible vs. The Glowing Stars- Horchata
Church of the Undying Bloop- Book of Cups
pornoUZI- Odalisque
LTC- Magic Island
brkfstsqd- I fight Vampires
Bear & Walrus- Words From the Woods

I think I've listened to breakfastsquid most of all.

Wait nigga is still considered offensive? Not to argue against the rule; but oftentimes I see the expression "my nigga" (maybe not on this website specifically) used to express endearment or admiration.
