I listen to (as in more than once) a few compilations.
The nanoloop compilation and the vocal compo are some of my favorites. The Mario Paint comp had some gems.
Which nanoloop comp?
There are lots of good chip compilations! Chip=win, iPhone nanoloop posse, Chiptuned rockman, nanoloop2008, Italian 8-bit for Japan, chip for cancer... A truckload of golden compilations! There are more bad ones though
I think it was 2008? There's a Hidden Village track called Among Waves on it.
Hey, wait, so is this two tracks per artist? I have a track I made for a halloween compilation (Not exclusively chip, not spec work at all) which I could throw at this.
It's pretty boring up until a minute and a half. That one note over and over is not cool. After that you're rocking the duspteb thing pretty good I guess.
Couldn't figure out how to use a DAW. Still can't.
Best answer.
>Because I like the way it sounds. >Because it's impressive to other people. >Because nothing is as portable and can make as many varied sounds as a portable computer. >Because free. The reason I love the internet. Both Gratis AND Libre. (File this under the rest of "Awesome Community")
I asked months ago and was ignored. I just had my first .sav scare (just a corrupted .sng, which I had backed up). I was gonna make a thread but since this is about cart batteries I'll just ask here.
What's the average lifespan of t3h EMS batteries?
Also when I replaced my pokemanz silver battery, I didn't use heat because I was scared of the whole exploding battery acid thing. I just used an exacto knife to lift and pry the tabs off the battery. It was hard and probably dangerous. But it worked well enough!
Kplecraft, because they already sound like the a game that I'd play the shit out of.
It'd be a platformer rpg (something to the likes of maplestory, which I've never played?) with strong emphasis on big, amazing, eye-candy animated backgrounds that are also kinda trippy and psychedelic. Think the color palette from Lion King's "I just can't wait to be King".
