I really wanted to go, being so close. Reading all this is making me feel depressed.

My gap year will definitely be spent at whatever Blipfest is on at the time though!

Not to mention there's nothing really stable to backup and load carts for mac OSX.

This will be a god send!

Agreed.  I had to put Windows on my Mac.  It'll be great to have something I can just plug in and use on OSX.

Nobody uses this, yet complain about not having anything easy to flash EMS carts with on Mac.
Sorry for the hijack...

10025kHz doesn't seem like the right sample rate for protracker ;3
i think you want 8363 Hz

Guys, I think you meant to say 11025, not 10025!

I thought that too, but I actually found an older thread here on CM in which Akira used 10025kHz as an example - it worked perfectly for me! (although with my amigacore stuff I opt for the most crunchy glitchiest file formats tongue)

Thanks ant, I'm trying out SoX now.

I recently downloaded this samplepack, and I want to convert them all to raw audio files to play around with on ProTracker.
I thought I could use Audacity, but that would take me forever.

Can anybody direct me to a good script/program to batch convert WAV files to 10025kHz signed/unsigned 8bit PCM raw audio? (Linux or Windows). Google just gives me those shifty "FREE AUDIO CONVERT 4 U!!!" results which don't give me the control I want.

Thanks in advance!

oh no i love my dmg waaay too much to smash it, i keep it in a foam padded box always, and that box is padded with shock-resistant gelatine, because this thing is retro and i poured several hundred dollars into it for mods (with my parent's permission, of course)

although i trash my gb color because it's not prosounded

there should be a 100 day challenge to try and complete as many timed challenges as possible.

but nobody will complete it because there are way too many x-amount-of-day challenges floating around.
