Unless your screen is inverted you will only invert the image to it. there is no point in inverting the image via data as you gain no sharpness to the image. the inversion of the polarizer on the LCD is what creates the sharp looking image, then the chip makes it the right colors again

Have you tried reading the file back and checking for accuracy? Also you usually need a higher voltage than USB to properly program EPROMs. Is there a spot on the board for external PSU?

At 6v it worked ok. would flicker sometimes. to be safe I'd say 9v would be choice. I thought the Mrs ran off of a higher voltage? you can solder right to the inside pin if the power port

Some people have no respect for things the see as free. this game looks awesome. and is a fresh concept, I see no reason that 6000 is too much.

I haven't played with the screen in a while but I think it worked fine at like 6v

This kind of thing usually happens with a short. in feeling like something is shorted on the LCD ribbon or on the connector between the two boards.

Edit:
so what he said^

I recommend against dell. I have been very pleased with acer and asus comps in the <500 range. Alienware WAS cool until bought out by dell, now it's over priced crap. dell boards die very easy, you will get a longer lifespan out of just about any other major brand.

Player has worked with every flash cart I've ever put in it. From home made to ems to emerger.

Means that it's an error that doesn't matter. Get it for customs romz all teh tiem. Has to do with making changes in some places and not editing the header (think I'm right?) to represent that in the checksum
