These plcc chips aren't too hard to find. Generally they run like 2$ a pop though

I use these  (not trying to put a plug in, just using for example) and have a generic resistor value figured out that I like.

I also use the leds to put in my custom cartridges.

If you buy some leds make sure you have the specs on them (the dmg has a special circuit which can handle basically any led and not burn the led out) but for case lighting you will need the specs because you cant run that many leds off of the power led source. Then from there you just use an equation to figure out the amount of resistance you will need

Same source as a backlight, a regulated +5v. As far as LEDs, I use SMT ones. But some people like the standard type. The different led types and such, call for different amounts of resistance. It depends on what the led can handle. Sorry if this sounds vague, because the whole subject is very subjective.

On a side note, I forgot to mention my love for the game sqoon

Please don't try to school me on earthbound, the game is called earthbound and was for the NES. it was produced by nintendo. There are 4 prototypes of the game, and the game was finished. an unreleased game still holds its name. It gots its street name of earthbound zero from the fam community to distinguish it from the snes version. earthbound is mother one, earthbound The war against gigyas is mother 2. earthbound zero was a Rom hack of the prototype Rom that fixed a few typos. the second version of zero got rid of the anti piracy checks that the initial title screen hack and typo fixes caused.

Plus, it's just a game.

uh Earthbound is what people who aren't in the know call Mother 2.

these sentences both point to the same thing

earthbound zero is what people who arent in the know call earthbound lol.

(I have a rather large NES collection)

maybe you should try the proto version of the rom instead of the zero rom. it wont have zero on the title screen. the one with the white zero on the title screen is not very playable as it sets off the piracy things, you either need the blu frozen looking zero, or the one without the word zero

RC pro am 2
earthbound (the proto rom version)
pin-bot
balloon fight

Honestly, the panels are very similar. Both have the bright spots from the bottom. the nonfinite ones require a separate resistor.

I suggest a white inverted panel, and then inverting the LCD data. This will result in a very black and white looking screen.

It isn't that kind of problem. The cart is malfunctioning
