Send me the save, I'll test it for you if you'd like. also what cart do you have, USB or non? Also don't desolder or remove batt until I confirm your sav is good! don't want you to lose data.

The CPUs were removed with the rework station, however I ended up using an iron to solder CPU back in (still new to the hot air) the CPU is deffinetly slightly tweaked. There are no shorts at all, and it works fine/CPU doesn't get hot.

I'm keeping the DMG CPU, but unfortunately while removing the sgb CPU about 6 pins hardened while extracting and pulled traces. I am harvesting the cart connector and the ram ICs and all other usefull chips. Plus keeping shell, May turn it into a USB flasher... Would be interesting.

Frostbyte: Yeah, with an AAA sized Li-Ion battery and a spacer.

What exactly does the spacer do? I can't find an article on them on google. Granted, I'm looking on y phone, but still.

Lithium batteries generally have higher mah and therefore last longer. but instead of 1.5 they have 3something volts (I know lipo is 3.7) so you would need one (I'd recommend rechargable) aaa battery and one dummy aaa that's just a jumper

I'm trying to decide:( it's really hard for me. Torn between the pixel ones by you and frostbyte, and torn between all the rest aswell.

Oh ok. didnt really read the part about cutting the board down.

You can also just bend the caps under the headphone board

Your soldering lacks flux, probably not a skill issue.

Hey nitro, any chance of throwing together an app that would take grayscale images and compile them into a viewer rom. say maybe 4-5 images.

Also, I will only use who's images I give a prize lol. which may have to be more than one, and ill switch it up once in a while. I am banking on using one as my actual logo, then some of these pixel ones on a gameboy screen for potential sale.

I don't really sell them. They are hand built and really only usable for special purpose. they take roughly 1.5 hours to complete. What purpose did you have in mind

Slow speed on these causes a wavelike pulse on the LCD.
