When you say do the artwork for the carts do you want it to just be something simple and small to go near the top where the old lsdj carts had lsdj? Or are you wanting to do a full blown sticker to make it look more like a legit cartridge like a game or something? I personally the latter would be cool and instead of it saying "DMG-blah blah" the little grey areas on the side like it does on most original gameboy games it could say "ASM-MBC5" or something similar just for fun. But have some epic image in the middle that looks kinda of game style.. Maybe your logo redone in a different way or something or hell maybe just you logo..but that seems a little to simple. These are epic cart and deserve an epic sticker. That my opinion personally. Message me with details of what you may have in mind. I might be interested or atleast willing to help pitch a few ideas.
Edit: I apologize for all the typos but I'm typing on my phone half asleep and I have fingers that are way to fat for an iPhone lol.

Re: Recreating the LSDJ Patchbook (29 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
I think both ideas are great. The extra blank pages in the book is also an awesome idea for writin in your own instrument builds and so on. And it sort of goes with the site idea of getting updated you can find the patches on the website that may not be in the book and add them yourself. I think Aeros and Bitman should collaborate and work on both of these projects together to make one epic group of projects. I personally prefer a hard copy I can carry with me. I have LSDJ patch boom on my iPhone but it doesn't update much and there's not a whole lot on it. And sometimes I just think a simple pen and paper feels more natural than typing on a phone screen. I actually made my own book little notebook I jott instrument builds and notes in for use for later but it's a little to big to fit in my pocket. A cartridge sized book would be amazing for the fact that I can just throw it in my gameboy carrying bag along side my LSDJ carts and have it right there. I think it might also be kind of cool to have little 1 1/2 inch long tiny pens made in the colors of the original gameboys to sell with them that some how clips to the cartridge case maybe. So you always have a pen...well until it dies lol.

Wait wait so they will be the full screen with built in backlight? So if anyone needs a full replacement screen because they cut a giant gash in the side of the ribbon cable on the right side a DMG screen so now there about 20 lines of missing pixels because of it this will work for that? Lol

That is pretty freaking sweet then. My only concern would be the direction the LEDs point... Will they be pointing down towards the pcb or up right into your face especially if you're playing/composing in the dark or performing on a dark ass stage. I'm all for diffusing some LEDs but some people may not know how to diffuse and 4 LEDs in the face could be a little painful. Other than that I love the idea. Full on even lighting everywhere would be phenomenal! Oh and will there possibly be a few runs that are Nes style dpads that are solid colors but the arrows are clear? THAT would be a bad ass design! I'd buy like 10 sets on first release lol.

In fact, for this particular part, you would do well to check guitar shops and guitar repair shops; these jacks are most often used in solidbody guitars and basses. Don't get the ones with endpin strap buttons. Guitar shops often will only have the mono ones - if you're doing a dual 1/4" thing, then that's fine.
This actually helps loads. Haha never would of thought hitting up a guitar shop for any. And I'm in a guitar shop weekly lol. Thanks man lol

Basically you guys just made a custom board for what I do. I pull boards out of these cheap led flashing shudder shades we sell at my job once the batteries die they usually get discarded and I just take them home and cut them to fit. They light up really well. These light up far better it seems and solves the light coming through the cases it seems. I'll definitely get my hands on a few of these at some point but for now I guess I'll be sticking to my boards since they are free lol.
