Video Preview!

As you can tell, there are still a fair few bugs to be sorted out, but it gives you some idea. Currently, we have playback issues (again) on the actual hardware and so this is a video capture from Fusion emulator. hmm

Credits (yeah I kindof skipped over them a bit in the video):

music & art: Nathan Stanley (me)

code: Alex Cichowski

player code: Shiru & Alone Coder

For more info about this project, please see the first post in this thread. Don't forget to pre-order! big_smile

@4mat: those demos are seriously fantastic!

So I guess this means no Adelaide gig? :'( Tom can't make it anyway. If you still want to do something I'm still keen, either before or after you go to Sydney.

OK, I only just found out about this. Definitely interested in building the envelope circuit. Fantastic work gijs! big_smile

Thanks Princess, but I'm really looking for an FM synthesizer that I can play chords on.

^ This. But I definitely listen to Aphex Twin more, though I'm quite selective with his music. Does anyone listen to any Tomita?

Does anyone have one of these in working order they no longer need? I'm in Australia and so I'd prefer one minus the heavy power supply to reduce postage (unless you're in Australia). Also, international postage from the US (i.e. USPS) seems to be rather pricey compared to, say, the UK. Looking to pay $60-70 US.

So let me know what ya got!

Cheers!

Hey, thanks! I was just mucking around. I've never tried re-synthesizing a sound before, but it was fun. smile

This is similar, but not exactly the same. First is dry and then with delay, reverb, stereo spread and highpass filter.

Just for fun and to procrastinate. big_smile Was made in buzz with FSM Infector using 3 oscs. 2 x PWM Squares with differing pulse widths and one transposed down an octave and detuned (12 cents). Then there's a sub osc which is a saw. Arp was done manually. The synth is limited since I can only detune the transposed osc. I think it might sound better to detune the top osc and not the octave transposed one.

Don't be ridiculous. If you did nothing wrong, why are you posting a 'statement'? :S

I'm definitely not a fan of death metal. I have to say I preferred the tracks that had no vocals and thought they were really good. That being said, I think I wouldn't enjoy them if they were translated into actual death metal, instead of NES sounds.

Listening now... smile By the way, of course this is fakebit, contrary to what the reviewer states. FL + Reason = 16bit sound and 32bit processing. Also, to the reviewer, Pendulum are Australian.

Sounds like it'd make good background music for something. I'd have liked it to be more chipmusic-y, though.

I'd say "Yes please!" to the source files. I love seeing other people's tracker work and learning a thing or two. big_smile

Great release! Awesome to hear some more Sega FM music. smile Sweet artwork too. Also, nice idea using a DX-100 with the Sega. I'm now thinking of getting a hold of one of the editable Yamaha Portasound synths to play along with my Sega music live.

This is ACE! Wonderful sounding tracks. I love the artwork, too. Nice work Linde!

@Lazerbeat: Sounds like TFM Maker to me.
