I've purchased a backlighting kit from e-bay the other day and had a go at fitting it this evening. I followed the guide, although the kit is a little different to mine it looked similar. Everything went fine but when I turn the brick on, the screen lookes a bit smudged, runny i guess. Well, i'll show the pictures:

This is how it's wired together

This is more or less visible screen of LSDJ

Full brightness

Soldered ends

I did check everything i could. It seems to that the signal at the screen (without the film behind) is looking exactly the same as with it. So I'm thinking it's got nothing to do with backlight. I hope it's not a damadged screen ribbon, but it's looking okay.

Any ideas? :)

I won't be surprised if someone will actually buy it smile

Strangely there aren't many people interested in this thread. So the whole thing closes at 2am? Is that correct?

SurfaceDragon, so you figured out how to make a GB rom with bigger pic resolution? smile

Trailer looks great. Glad he got the funding to start on. Will be waiting for it to come out smile

That would be a ver useful feature, nitro2k. Please keep me updated on your progress if you start getting into this. At the moment I am using same ROM on both pages, which is okay, but that's not what I payed for smile Would be nice to have a game on a second page or something.

So, what you're saying is, one page can be filled up with ROMs up to 32mbit and have like a boot-at-start menu ROM, which brings up the list of ROMs on the current page? And the same goes for another page. That'll be brilliant!

Can you link me to some menu ROMs, and just general info? And why are they not working well with LSDJ?

herr_prof, you don't have to go back everytime smile

I keep the Index page opened at all times and open the topics in a new tab one by one as I read them. Them when I'm finished, I would come back to the index page and refresh it. I just want to hear from an administrator, could that be implemented or they are not gonna bother. I'm sure it would take less than hal an hour to make a little button smile

What platform is this going to be on? Win/Linux? Looks very interesting, i would give it a try. Anyone is writing a soundtrack yet? Good luck with it smile

And if I want to view say...5 topics. So I have one page opened and i have to control click, or scroll click every link, and then (my tabs open in a new window) return to the index tab and do the same again? No, thanks.

I suggest you try a few other browsers and see if the dashboard works. If you'll have no luck with that, then it might be a site problem (i'm on Win 7 atm using Firefox 3.6 and it seems fine). Some people reported the same problem, google says. Some you might want to dig around that. If another browser will load the site fine, then look carefully in IE settings and other crap.

Best of luck!

What's your browser version? Tried removing the cache and cookies?

Depending on the OS there may be various reasons. The most likely one is the Adobe Flash player for some reason stoped functioning properly. Simple upgrade, or re-install might solve the problem. What is actually not working?

As an option switching a capacitor will do the job of course, but from a modder point of view I'm interested to try and install a little switch smile So wanna know if it's possible at all.

moc is actually awesome and it has goot the console toggle/stop/prev/next commands to bind the hotkeys on which aren't many console based players have. Thank's for that!

That's not a very good workaround. Would be much easier to have the damn button.
