Well, is the SuperCard a flash cart designed for GBA use? That's your answer. =_=;;

I don't really need official roms, and i have a snes emu for my R4 that works fine on the original DS
LOL! You certainly do not! The DS SNES emulator is such shit. What makes the iPlayer and the SuperCard DS Two so cool is they have an onboard CPU that is more powerful than both of the DSs CPUs. The GBA emulator doesn't even use the DSs CPUs yet, only the onboard iPlayer one! Supercard created the iPlayer so the SCDS2 is just a revamp, but you really should consider it before you purchase an iPlayer.

MML is easiest if you are a true musician. I'm not a programmer and I think it's the tits. If you understand standard notation and the hardware you are writing for then you can understand MML.

^_^ FB01s are the tits. Best bang for your buck hands down. Cheapest possible way to get those classic Yamaha FM sounds. And some of the presets are ACTUALLY usable!!!
PS: @ Lazerbeat: You're just bitter. :-P

Re: Sega? (32 replies, posted in Sega)
Well people are definitely making chipmusic for the Sega Megadrive/Genesis and so a Sega section would be nice imo.
While I agree that it may be nice and there are definitely people interested in it, a section on it just ends up going unused. There just isn't enough out there to discuss that would justify a Sega only section. Now an FM only section is a whole other story. That would cover MSX and TG16 as well (among others, of course).
EDIT: Esopus: I demand more info on that! That sounds sexy!

Have you heard Animal-Style's stuff??? not half-assed.
Actually, a forum could be a good way to fix that problem. right?
MOD2PSG can't use samples, PSG and FM all at once in an effective manner. That's all I meant by that. And I knew I was forgetting about one, TFM!

Of course there is also Little-Scales interfaces, but they already have dedicated pages and even then, they don't yet exist and that still only gives us a grand total of 4 threads about Sega stuff. Five threads if we give flashcarts their own thread too.

Unbelievable. I've been having a really shitty couple weeks and this nearly moved me to tears. Thank you Shnabubala, it was a pleasure meeting you and I wish you well.
Bit_Shifter, simplicity is nothing to be ashamed of. No matter how much I go on and on about progressive rock and zanzan and whatnot, the best pieces that stand out the most are the ones that are exceedingly simple in their execution and beauty.

Who uses it? Who loves it, who hates it? Do you use PPMCK, XPMCK, Husic, 3MLE, etc? Have any questions you'd like answered? Have any tips for other programmers? Did Mic kill your brother?
Talk about anything you want having to do with MML here!
PS: I'm going to go ahead and plug Nullsleep's tutorial if you're interested in learning it. I used it when I was learning and it only took me about an hour to learn the basics, the rest was all in the manual for the compiler I wanted to use (took a few days to learn all those macros).

PPS: Nullsleep should really add XPMCK to his GB utilities page. :3
