Dude, are you for fucking real with this? I literally cannot believe this.

Like you come onto a chipmusic forum and post about how you don't want to hear chip sounds? Like do you understand what this is?
I mean I haven't been listening to too much chip music lately but that's not what I post about here.
I'm not gonna defend chip music because that's just dumb, but like literally this is hilarious

And for real with the fucking ponies?
I'm guessing this is a silly troll
but god you are annoying.

Also just extra lol at specifically asking for "melody driven chip" and then being condescending when someone gives you exactly that.

Probably all of blip '09, dat last wintery blip, my first blip, and damn, like every act at that show.

SOMEONE FLY ME OUT TO THIS I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE

It's in the email that was sent out, if you haven't gotten it yet, or aren't subscribed I don't really know what to tell you. But Bit Shifter has essentially confirmed on twitter, Jenn DLV has pretty much confirmed.

They're going with a firm "not necessarily forever"

But who knows when that is?

Also why would we lie about this?

From the latest email about blip tokyo:

When we invaded an old bank in NYC's financial district back in 2006 to throw the first Blip Festival there was no way we could have predicted the way that it would grow over the years. All the while, the organizational team behind-the-scenes has remained a very small and hands-on crew. Running it all has been an immensely rewarding experience, but also incredibly demanding, and often monopolizing our energy and efforts at the expense of other 8bitpeoples projects. So after careful deliberation, we've decided that this October's Blip Festival Tokyo 2012 will be the last installment of the Blip Festival event series for the foreseeable future. A special thanks to Christian Villum, David Adams, Kristy Dossor & Eugene Davoren-Britton -- without whom, the overseas editions of Blip Festival would not have been possible.

So this is sad, I am sad. Let's go to tokyo.
