Sounds like a plan.

please let's move away from the gameboy
the NES and the Amiga are both more worthwhile synths, as are the badly under-represented c64, Atari ST, Megadrive and what have you
in addition i think the "holding a gameboy on stage" element introduces a great deal of skeptics and holds us all back

I've been really meaning to get into making some NES and c64 stuff. I think the main reason I've been more oriented towards gameboy though is the ability to write music during the commute to and from work.

The only real issue I've experienced with my EMS cart is the whole driver issue, and even then it's only really an inconvenience.

I suppose there aren't as many people looking for them here in Australia. Also they were sold as not working and I had to resolder, clean, etc. a lot of them.

LUCKY! I really need to get a bunch of gameboys haha, I don't have enough spare parts. What do you search for to get them in bulk?

Generally I like to check ebay every few weeks using the keyword gameboy or nintendo. Occassionally I get lucky big_smile

Is it DMG or GBA?

Would be pretty mad having an SP in a DMG case. A little too much effort for me to undertake personally though.. Didn't Nex do something like that?

Pretty awesome!
So these are going to be completely rectangular rather than having a slight curve on the lower right? That would be great with regard to case mounting prosound sockets and the like.

I bought it with a box of 64 other unmodded dmgs, most of which don't have the battery covers.

is it a clear one?

Yep, though there is some slight damage to the top of the case and it's missing both serial and battery covers so I'd be happy to get rid of it for a little cheaper than usual.

I'll sell you mine if you make it look AWESOME!!

Pretty keen on getting my hands on the bleep bloop cart and possibly even the Kaoss pad. just a couple of questions.
In the pic on the right the cart looks like it has a crack in the case. Is that so or am I just looking at it wrong?
And how would you feel shipping internationally?

[edit] right, not left.. duh.

no, this taps the regulated power supply.  you're good wink

Sweet, I'll keep that in mind when soldering those backlights I just bought from you.

Would you ship the blackboy and gameboy micro internationally?
