ive got 4-5 two GB tracks, i find it kinda unfulfilling though and much prefer working with just the one GB though.

desmos is kinda sync'd in places, it was more of a case of getting everything at same tempo and some editing though, its more fun than midi tongue

you can get MSSIAH on a cart, but you'll still need floppies to save. its not a tracker though

there are tons of music progs but things like SDI/JCH/DMC/Johnplayer/ are all good - get em here: http://noname.c64.org/csdb/

johnplayer is most simple

you wont really need anything else really other than computer cables diskdrive and a teevee/monitor
