The size of the link cable port is different but besides that yes they do talk the same language! kitsch used to sell a cable that went from one size to the other, dunno where you'd get one nowadays though.

E: you could always just get a gbc/pocket link cable and sync the two colours

subtractive mixing, yo! i only use small boosts for most things, most of the eq work is cutting holes for other instruments. i also try and avoid panning low frequencies at all although i've come to accept that this might just be a personal taste of mine!

and if you have to automate stuff just DO IT, don't set and forget

It looks just like a regular old pink v3 backlight to be honest! It's hard to take good photos of the backlights so I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a less-than-ideal photo.

My jaw hit the floor when I saw the price they're charging for it though... That can't be right, can it?

I'm the one in the black hat.

sick.

i've been meaning to start skating more again, used to go every weekend when i was younger. got a new pair of xsjados a couple years ago but haven't used them nearly as much as i'd wanted to. also one of the bolts has seized and i can't change the wheels around ffffffffff

ALSO also all the dudes i used to skate with moved away or just don't skate anymore either so there's that too.

ALSO ALSO also i'm not very good! :<

look if there is an arppeg fonction on the midi controller if yes play with that, it should be ok !

If there isn't then there's a number of VST plugins that take MIDI inputted chords and output them as arpeggios, I think there's one that comes with Cubase iirc and FL Studio's channel arpeggiator will do this too.

lol syncing up 7/4 and 15/16 is the worst idea I've ever heard.

just tried this - he's right

trying to add 3/16 and then resolve to 4/4 makes it worse

y'know i heard from a few people that a significant number of musicians end up studying psychology - sounds about right! say an0va, how long did you have to spend on your degree (bachelor & masters)? i've just started this year and i'm looking at 6 years minimum for clinical - is it any different in the states?

i think growing up is realising that everyone is just fucking insane and that you're totally okay with it!

What's wrong with using the wav channel for samples?

polymeters are always fun and three or more rhythms playing at once can sound great when they're resolved thoughtfully

No, for this effect you definitely want to stay away from primers, especially since primer isn't typically clear.

I stand corrected; I haven't sprayed clear stuff before and was just going off of what I remember from reading Thretris' posts on 8bc many moons ago - thanks for the heads up!

Oh, so that's why it was playing in the background at the Melbourne Blip open mic. Can't believe I didn't make the connection.
