it's about fucking time!

i hate to say it, but this has been coming for the last 3 years from what i remember. funds and time were a problem back then. not much of a surprise there, they have a handfull of people organizing a show including a fistful of artists from overseas, and a crowd of hundreds for a hell of a long weekend. it was expected, yet still sad as all hell to see it go. in a sense, i'm glad it's happening. i got to enjoy the best of blip, every single year. this last year i wasn't able to stay long, due to having the new busy life of a family man (hah). even still, with great acts performing, i didn't feel the energy i did every other year. it seemed more people were there to socialize than to actually see the musicians. this could also be because this was the first year i was sober at blip. i don't know. either way, comparing it to something like holidays in the sun festival, or warped tour or some shit. it's cool the first few years, then shit goes weak. i'm glad blip is stopping before it could (if honestly possible) go weak.

i miss boston. i'm gonna have to head up there with the family and buy 20lbs of candy again. probably around march or something. can we please plan accordingly for a retarded all ages show (my kid needs to get in too, ya know)?

arnie from data thrash will have cd's from a bunch of artists on the label, i believe including mine. i also think there are stickers floating around ny since i left them all at i/o a few weeks back. i hope those are being distributed.

oh hey im back. does anyone wanna just paypal me like $30 or whatever the fuck tickets cost so i can go there tomorrow ? i'll like i dont know, dedicate a stagedive/crowdsurf/puke for you

just heard emily ask for her bag. god damnit this is depressing. i'm glad i saved all my 10%+ beers for nights like this. this is the first blip i am not fully attending/unsure if i am even going..

anyway, thanks for streaming it. ill just get hammered at home while the wife and baby sleep and jam out on my couch. maybe i'll drink a beer style/bottle from each region of every artist performing as they perform.
