http://kotaku.com/5914149/musician-rele … cartridges

What do you guys think? I think it's a terrible waste of cartridges. He's not even doing chiptunes, just opening them up, throwing away the boards and sticking an mp3 player in them or something.

1. Earthshine 1
2. Earthshine 2
3. Lune 1
4. Lune 2

Download here.

These are the first 4 songs I ever wrote using SunVox.

Yes I know that the cover art is a picture of an annular eclipse and not earthshine.

If anyone finds any problems with the mix please please please tell me about it. I'm not very good at mixing but I'd like to have these sounding as good as possible.

Note: Some tracks are supposed to have seamless transitions. Downloading this in mp3 format may muss the timing up.

Doing homework. ughhhh school sometimes...

We should all collaborate and make some good Radiohead cover albums and then show them to Pitchfork and explain why those covers are shit.

Ughhhhhhhhh so bummed that I can't play and/or go to this show

Mostly chipthrash. I think.

Edit: I should probably mention that Simi Valley is in the LA area.

Have you tried changing the cursor repeat settings?

if you're into twitch shooters, play some Nexuiz. fun little constantly-changing clusterfuck of a game, just a bit laggy though.

If you check out Nexuiz you should also check out Xonotic. The original creators of Nexuiz were basically forced out of their project by another studio, so they started Xonotic to be able to keep working on their game.

Seriously guiz, am I the only person who plays this shit?

Y'ain't the only one, I got almost every Cave game on iOS so far.

Defender, Asteroids, Castelian (Nebulus), Alleycat, Goblins and Super Bat puncher are the games I'm actually playing.

Wait, Did they finish making Super Bat Puncher? Or are you just talking about the demo?

Tribes: Ascend is awesome fun, and it's free-to-play. I'm absolutely terrible at it, but it's really one of the best free-to-play games out there. (Also if anyone wants to add me as a friend on Tribes my nick is VinCMG)

I've also been playing lots of Global Agenda (f2p MMO) and Synergy (Half-Life 2 mod) with friends.

Huh, I didn't know the vib type affected pitchbend speeds. Gonna have to try that out sometime.

The P command doesn't work well for extremely slow pitch bends. What I usually do is have a chromatic scale going up with one note every couple steps (depends on the speed you want it) and use L01 to slide into the notes to approximate a smooth pitch bend. It doesn't give the smoothest slide, but you can get it pretty close.

As far as I know LSDJ doesn't have a fine pitch bend function.

Ughhhhhhhh I hate the fact that these are all Thursday because I can't do anything Thursday night
