This sounds cool on headphones, but it actually cancels out the center when listening on speakers.
Don't use this technique.  Read up on stereo phase inversion.

EDIT: Read the last comments in the linked thread. So what exactly are you doing? I don't think I quite understand.

Bumping this, added 1.5

1: There is none.
2:
A + B + Right: Solo / Unmute current channel
A + B + Left: Mure current channel

(This is from the 2.6 manual, if this doesn't work it is likely that the feature has been removed)

3: This was removed from 2.7

I always have trouble writing stuff in ableton because it lacks the workflow present in stuff like nanoloop. Also really great live/performance factor I'd imagine!

That about sums up why I'm making it!

As written on the page, it is made in Pure Data, and PD runs on win/nix/mac/whatever as long as the computer is fast enough to run it. (ie not rpi)
So in other words, it runs *within* pure data as a "patch" (don't worry, it won't be complicated to use it as is)

Also as written, I intend to move onto making a standalone desktop application that will run on rpi and have more functions.

Thanks for your nice words. smile

I've been working on a midi sequencer written in Pure Data for the last couple of weeks.
It's entirely inspired by the workflow of handheld "chip"-software, notably so nanoloop.

Read more about it here

I thought it would be interesting to some of you, I don't think I'm the only one who always wanted a midi-able version of NL. smile
The source code and application will be available soonish.

Yet again super good music from Biographs!

Yes.

Getting rid of a lot of nice stuff.

[SOLD] SammichFM - OPL3 in a box w/ midi - €230 / $315
[SOLD] GenMDM ver2 - You know the thing, midi for your Genesis/Megadrive - €120 / $164

[SOLD] Nanoloop 2.0.1 - the one with an 8 channel  sequencer - €45 / $62
[SOLD] Nanoloop 1.6 - the latest version, aka "one" - €20 / $27
[SOLD] Nanoloop 1.5 - the one with an extra voice - €45 / $62

All in excellent condition.
I'm located in Sweden, but will ship anywhere. Add $12 for international, $27 for SammichFM.

I can vouch for ESI's MidiMate II usb interface. It's basically just a cable, but works just as good as my soundcard's interface (which is good)
What I like about it the most is how the cables are interchangeable as input/output, so you can have 2 in, 2 out or 1 in and 1 out. Very flexible.

The midi support in the latest  LGPT ghetto running on OSX (Mavericks) seems to be totally broken.
I can get it to spit midi for a couple of seconds, then it will just stop sending any data or playback any samples.

Does anyone else have this problem or know a solution?

Maybe an older version won't have this issue? It's a shame there's only the latest build to grab on the page.
(I've tried the stable, it doesn't have midi support at all!)
I've troubleshooted this for hours now and can't come up with a solution or direct cause.
(log says nothing about the "freeze")

My only guess is that it has something to do with the update that integrated mapping support for midi devices- I'm thinking maybe the midi input causes feedback or something.

Use the detune setting to tune it.

Interesting! Could you upload a screenshot?
I'm thinking of making a nanoloop clone (or at least inspired by) intended for sequencing OSC/MIDI messages.
Ideally you would be able to control it with a gamepad of your choice to achieve a similar feel of the original.

I dunno... Have you tested it against something that is definitely in tune? Like a digital test tone or something. I mean, a 303 clone might not be the most in tune thing! wink

Hey thanks, really cool you guys like it. I usually keep all my stuff sort of under surface. Should release more I guess!
