I don't have it anymore. Didn't use it that much with any external gear to be honest. Some filtering/fx I guess, but that's not the op-1's strong side imo. Where it really shines is making in-the-box-stuff anywhere, anytime. Sounds pretty damn good if you have patience too.

It's an OP-1.
It's drool worthy because it's a very nice & fun ultra portable synth.

It's *this* batch, I guess.

I've been emailing with lowtoy and the pcbs are faulty.

"If you don't mind cutting a couple of lines from one of your boards you might test if, indeed, we have a hardware bug.
Cut both traces going to MIDI OUT connector in the bottom side and wire them crossed. To do so, you can scrap some of the covering paint to have the trace visible and solder a cable there after cuttinbg it. Like this we can know if these two lines are connected the other way they should or not."

This will make midi out work.
He hasn't had time to check midi in, but my guess is that it's the same problem. Don't want to cut anything on the pcb before I'm sure of it though.

Some fresh & frisky techno coming out on Chipflip at the end of this month!

"Unfair" ... I don't know...
It could be a wake up call for Little-scale.
It could also make him give up entirely.
(hopefully he hasn't already)

So - no, don't do it.

Yeah, PM very much sent!

sell it to keff

RDJ is a grade A prankster, really simple logic here.

I'd go for Focusrite as well if on a budget. Their drivers seem stable.
(Would not recommend having just a Zoom instead of a proper i/o)

MidiBastl seems to work very well! -> http://youtu.be/PZqikXf6UGM
