It's even got artificial intelligence.

You'd need at least 3 cables to make that work, if there even is a female GBA/GBC/GBP connector to dmg converter.
And the micro to gba converter seems to be super rare.

Really, just get a cheap GBA and a universal link cable.

Oh! Sorry for the misinformation and thanks for the clarification.
Very good to know.

How about 2.01, can that be updated to 2.2?

iirc, 1.2 was the last version to use a battery.
1.3 is the only version that might work, but my concern would be that the flash memory is different (?)

No - but probably not. I'm pretty sure versions lower than 1.6 all use different types of saving methods or have special functions like the third voice in 1.5.

Did you know that you can downgrade a 2.3 -> 2.6 cart to 2.2? You can do it with the link cable usb thing, just ask Oliver for the correct version of 2.2 and you're good to go.

There was a feature in pre 2.3 where one could record a data stream and (besides using it for saving backups) render it to 16 bit wav files; but that's not a function in 2.3 and up. Just get a dirt(y) cheap gba, link cable and the adapter from nanoloop; it probably won't cost too much in the end and you can play around with some midi stuff with the adapter. smile

PM sent.

How will one control this software? Will it have midi?

I see that DosBox works on Dingoo, there might be some fun ascii (or whatever gfx) progs to run and mess around with. smile

Super sweet!

The Mist Toggles makes great droney chip-stuff!

Also, there's this: http://metri.bandcamp.com/album/a-b

Bump. Also interested in NL2.2 (not 2.3 and up or pre- 2.2) ie: the last version with 8 channels.
