Considering what a musician gets for an arrangement and a producer gets to record a track, 50 bucks is more than cheap.

EDIT: Also, people should know that we make music that worths as an artistic work, wheter we play with a $3'000 bass guitar or a $10 old gameboy. If you wish this movement to go beyond the underground circuit and its own community, start thinking beyond it; we are musicians, we are performers; we already spend $100+ on a fancy modded gameboy, so can name our prices freely.

DO WANT

Connect two gameboys and mix them.
Or make an arduinoboy and mix it with some Ableton stuff.
You know? You don't need to only press play, make it harder in purpose so you can have a little bit of difficulty while performing.

GB1 and GB2 goin' through a Toneport UX2, that goes to my macbook, then the stereo outputs from the Toneport go to the mixer.
At least that's how I do it.

But yes, try to figure out how sound works and the numbers behind it, my math professor uses Super Collider to show us that.

Three handed GB games are the hip now.

V^3 backlight doesn't need the battery indicator to be removed, so there's no need for the bat_DMG. (Sorry Kitsch, lol.)

Shot videos of yourself playing. But good and well-produced music videos, not shitty ones with the laptop camera and external audio.
Make an image to sell, you have to enter to the market, make people notice you. Contact designers and people that can make that for you, but under your specifications.
PLAY LIVE. No matter how, that's the best publicity, if people don't hear you, they won't see you either, not talking about them to write about you. Play as live as you can. You have some friends on a semi-pro electro rock band? Ask them if you can open their show, do something.
Imagery is like 70% of the music industry these days. Most of the people won't even notice the music, they'll know you because of your DMGs and awkward sound.

1 NES Controller
1 SM Cart with LSDJ
1 Line 6 Toneport UX2
1 Macbook Pro 13"
1 80's Jazz Bass
1 Shitty guitar
1 Shitty bass amplifier

Not shown, a KORG Midi Controller somewhere else.
Maybe next week my second SM Cartridge and backlite x2 arrives.
Also, I'm trying to turn the NES Controller on a MIDI Controller or a mouse. Anyone knows how?

WAV.

The idea is cool, but I'd never sacrifice the battery comp, not to say there are a lot of envelope filters for bass and geetar, and if you run your rig through a laptop you can easily add filters on a DAW. But that's my opinion, there are a lot of guys who'll find it usable.

Exactly. I use a Line6 Protone and Logic Pro to record, if it helps.
Ableton Live is a good choice too.

I bought Nanoloop for Android some time ago and thought of use it live, but it's NL it's just not my thing.
