Just wait until all three domains have been successfully transferred and there should be no reason for anyone to hate. Though, I'm wondering if, Shawn hadn't posted this thread etc, if the SNESology domains would've been mysteriously redirected to 16bc after a couple of weeks...

You mean you recorded everything together in one track and now you want to separate stuff? This is theoretically possible using spectral editing, but in many cases your recording will be much too dirty for it to be practically possible.

Jesus this is awful.
I, being an elitist dick or something, have to agree with this. And how is this chiptune, exactly?
And I'm feeling that anyone who feels the need to put "official" before or after his name is trying to prop himself up and prove something.

EMS flasher? Are you sure about that? It's not a bleepbloop or smartboy flasher?

Do you have the original sav, before splitting it up? It may be that it was corrupted, which the LSD-manager can't handle that well. Send me the file at [my user name here]@gmail.com and I\ll investigate that.

It had a way of preserving the high scores. I'm curious how it did that now.
No it didn't. Not when powering off the Gameboy.

Re: .Please tell me how to delete my account. (27 replies, posted in Bugs and Requests)
You know how one of the rules is you cant change your username? well I want to delete this account and make a different one so that I can.
BUT THERES NO WAY TO DELETE ACCOUNTS?! SERIOUSLY, you really think i would beleive that?
So, let me get this straight. You register an account and ignore reading the rules. There's the rule against name changes, of course, but there's also rule 7: "Chipmusic.org's policy is to preserve the availability of all content posted, with exceptions made at the discretion of the site's administrator & moderation team (such as instances of spam, harassment, offensive material, etc.)"
Or put simply, we don't delete content on request. These both rules were decided upon because some people on 8bc trolled and harassed people and then got started on a clean slate by asking to get their ccount deleted or having their name changed. We didn't want that kind of thing to happen here. Of course there are no technical limitations that we can't delete accounts. We do that all the time with spam bots.
Now, if all you want to do is remove the long dash because it's tedious to type, or you pasted it by mistake, I'll actually do that. No problem. But if you want to change your name to something completely different, the answer is no.

Re: Creating a Game Soundtrack (29 replies, posted in General Discussion)
For something like an 8-bit shmup I'd choose Trey Frey and Zabutom. (I hope for this to become true one day.)
For a modern 3D FPS, I'd do a post-apocalyptic game with a soundtrack composed by Hecq and vaetxh.

Re: Pianocade Chiptune Synthesizer (46 replies, posted in Other Hardware)
15 patches of a single square wave? That seems like a shame, maybe you can add other waveforms through the firmware or something...
It's probably using a single digital pin of a microcontroller to output the sound. A shame indeed really, considering how easy it is to build a cheapo passive 4-8 bit DAC using only 4-8 digital output pins and a bunch of resistors. That way you can have a sawtooth or triangle or more complex waveforms pretty easily.

Re: album on a cartridge (45 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
Any album that includes the save file would technically count...
Nah, not really. It needs to be plug in cartridge, press play. You could just send a cartridge with LSDj and your song on it, but then people could just delete the song. Not the same thing, you know.
