I learnt LSDJ first which means 90% of other trackers are like foreign language to me.
I'd say beepola, not because it's hard, but because if you don't know how to use it you'll quickly deafen people.

I'd heard a lot of bullshit 8BIT music and figured there must be more too it. I was right.

Chibi tech is pretty cool
"I'm from Damonidax" is a legitimately cool release. And releasing 999 midifiles was pretty funny.
I like aanaaanaaanaaana posts, a bit of weirdness never hurt the forums.

Any CM.O folks going? I've recently moved to rotterdam and this is kind of totally within my reach more or less.
Also, check out Lagrange point on Famicom and weird though is may sound, Pictionary on NES.
Actually listening to lagrange point right now. I remember someone saying that pictionary had an unusually good soundtrack.
That's amazing. I can't believe I've never heard of that game... it's gotta be by some of the same people as did Trip World, right?
Well they're both by sunsoft, and they have a lot of game play similarities, different composers though. Gimmick! is unique in that it's the only NES game to have a Yamaha YM2149 on its cart. Gave them way more sound options to work with. It also has a whole bunch of fairly unique stylistic choices for a NES game. The dpcm channel is used to play actually bass samples, rather than for the drums, and the kick is on the triangle channel.
GIMMICK! for the NES of course.
something about how chiptune is dead, and that seapunk is the next coming of christ
Seapunks been dead since 2011 bro. Vaporwave was the next coming of christ, now thats dead too apparently.
