From what I understand these sometimes had save corruption issues, and I'm not sure if it's the fault of LSDJ when the cart existed or the cart itself. Super curious.

i just found out that one other new feature is that you can export your song's note data to a MIDI file on your 3DS' SD card!  very handy, that means you can compose while you're out and about, and then import the MIDI data into the DAW of your choice.

Wow, I might not sell my 3DS after all lol all I use it for is playing Pokemon and VVVVVVV

Gameboy Sp have external cable ok, but i carry this cable with it and i can't charge, i know there is a hybrid solutions to allow charge and audio....... now i'm guess: is there much difference between prosound and nintendo audio cable?

I know NeX did an audio comparison and results showed that prosound was better than using an adapter, but only marginally so. I have two adapters I can mail you if you give me money for shipping. One allows for charging and using headphones at the same time, the other one does not allow for charging. Let me know if you are interested in my offer. smile

CPU revisions do affect the sound quite a bit, I noticed that the Super Gameboy CPU handles the L command differently from the DMG CPU. Certain DMG's of mine will stutter and skip on tables in the noise channel. Some of them handle samples better than others. With a bit of investigation I bet I could figure out why. Recently I have been writing on a Gameboy Pocket since it behaves consistently and when cranked through a EQ-ing mixer I can make bass sound pretty close to the DMG's.

Use what works and sounds good to you. Most people won't notice or care. I am fine with anything as long as it sounds good in my setup and won't interrupt my workflow when I hop between consoles.

You could easily make this with any standard USB form factor you could buy panel-mount jacks for.

Mini-USB would be nice for EMS cart users, because then their flasher cable for the cart is also a power cable for the game boy…

I use something like this for my Bleepbloop, EMS cart, and Drag'n'derp http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … nQodk3EAzQ

And it's great.

I can sell you all of those things if you PM me, got a nice purple link cable that is DMG/GBP+CGB compatible, a barely used EMS 64 cart, and a yellow PIL DMG with a yellow backlight which you can see in my for-sale thread. If you want it prosounded, tell me yes or no, and tell me if you want external or internal.

For the cable, DMG, and cart, I'd ask $80. But it's negotiable. PM me if you are interested.

Part of the use of the screen will be for LSDJ on a Super Gameboy.

I thought flashcarts (or at least the EMS) didn't work in the SGB...? How are you swingin' this, sir?

EMS (old and 64), Bleepbloop, and DnD work on mine.

UPDATE: everything except the kitsch-cased DMG and the blue Gameboy pocket are on hold.

EDIT 06/02/2013:
EDIT2: 06/06/2013

[SOLD]Selling my Bleep Bloop (black PCB), comes with a new clear case from Kitsch with a special cut for the USB port. Willing to let go for $70 shipped.

[SOLD]Drag'n'Derp is going, don't see it being of much use to me since I ended up using my EMS carts more and more now that I have a functioning Windows machine that will play nice with them. Asking $85 with shipping or best offer.

[SOLD]Nanoloop 1.6 (whoops), bought this and never ever liked it. Nanoloop just isn't for me, but it is some very capable software. Willing to let go for $30 or best offer.

[SOLD]Blue non-USB EMS cart and GB Transferrer II, comes with cable, install CD. Bought this in hopes of learning things about cart flashing, realized it was not a good investment of my time or money. Make me an offer.

Pics coming soon.

EDIT: but who really needs pictures? tongue

EDIT 2: it's all gone
