I would love to get my hands on a MIDINES cart again. I have an Atari STe but to send to Canada would be very expensive. Hm. If you don't get any trades, you should post a price. Many would be interested, I'm sure.

Feel slightly smug I got to see them in London a few months back. Sad to see them go.

To clarify, because I have a bad habit and long history of failed satire (my artist name being the most obvious case) and I REALLY REALLY want to make sure people realize I meant no disrespect there, my comment was more an indictment of the trend of super fast chip music because the artists on that list are, in my opinion, more cerebral and compositional in their approach than many popular and current chip musicians and some people would be like "lol omg they all tha same" and I'm like "lolololo chip music"

*hyperventilates*

/me passes paper bag.

I had a guy pick a fight with me because he knew I made music on a Game Boy. Didn't care then, don't care now.

£22 + shipping. I'd really like to get someone to back it up first. Hm.

maybe talk/send it to one of the tx dudes to back it up and they can back it up and give it to him at a show or something? iayd and sievert come to mind

UNLESS youre worried about the battery coming loose in shipping or something

I would be slightly worried about that but it's definitely something I'd consider. Hm. I shall ask some of the guys in Texas. Thanks, man.

dont want to burst your bubble, but they kinda suck in general.. you are much better off using one of the modern mouse adapters.. good luck!

The 1351 doesn't suck! I found it quite nice. However, you're right about the adapters, they are way more convenient and easier to get a  hold of.

u need to buffer your output though if you plan to solder wires anywhere... just running the output pin to a jack puts your sid chip at risk.

That's why you DO NOT take the audio from the pin. There's PLENTY of points to get audio from at the motherboard without the need to do a buffer or any other sort of technical malarkey. Just solder a cable to the pad.

What difference does it make if it's from a location on the motherboard or directly from the chip? None. Yes, it will work but like but the SID chip is still at risk from spikes and other malarky.
