My wild guesses:

Computers running Windows Vista or Windows 7
Click the Start button Picture of the Start button, right-click Computer, and then click Properties.
If "64-bit Operating System" is listed next to System type, you’re running the 64-bit version of Windows Vista or Windows 7.
If "32-bit Operating System" is listed next to System type, you’re running the 32-bit version of Windows Vista or Windows 7.
The edition of Windows Vista or Windows 7 you're running is displayed under Windows edition near the top of the window.

Check if your pc is 32bit so you can stay on 1 course and not waste time trying others.

There's an old message on Kitsch's store:

"

MIGHT BE IMPORTANT: HKems' original drivers seem to be broken!!!
At least I couldn't get them installed. Tried everything but nothing worked. "Windows couldn't locate drivers in specific folder" was the message I got in every system: Windows 7 32/64bit and Win XP. Fortunately someone managed to fix the problem and has been released a modded working version which can be found here: http://hkems.proboards.com/ind...

So everybody who's got problems installing the driver should give it a try:

- deactivate UAC (under "msconfig"/tools) // restart pc
- download and run the driver override programm (link in description)
- update driver in Windows' device manager

have fun smile"

Looks related?

just saw the sprite on facebook, awesome!

Just bought a classic game boy case today. Flea market 5 euros, a giveaway.
If you don't load anything in it besides the DMG the screen can't be scratched. The DMGcase can be scratched at the points the holders, well, hold it.

After some puzzling you can fit in a link-cable and a '3.5 mm to stereo jack'-cable. Put the jacks at the bottom of the case so only the cables touch the screen et voila.

Handy for stacking or keeping in a backpack.

Minus:
Looks even worse than a fanny pack to wear over you shoulder.
Can't fit in lightboys.
The cable puzzling is tedious

Don't recommend it.

A WAV bassdrum

PF0 - with the preset saw 10/FF- 10/FF.
Sounds way too silent so it makes all my other instruments go down to ENV 4-3.
But god damn, love that sound

Sounds like mario at a rave

I thought it was strange to have it during the weekend. During Friday and Saturday people are usually out to see performances in the flesh. That's also my annoyance with good television shows, finally a hood movie on tv or decent radioshows.

Sunday and Thursday were cool, do it more often on those days, so that I don't feel bad staying home.  100% agree with Bryface's post.

I don't think the boring performance is an issue. It's a stream. For cool performances I leave the house. I think it's normal to see the bedroom/kitchen/whatever.

it's an idea by other people, and it's actually an addition for lsdj, but I want to bump the idea.

Just lsdj but with a function to create a instrument that can't change pitch.
Just for TSP reasons in the phrase screen, considering kickdrums and bassline.

Don't want to create another thread for such a tiny question: does anybody know how to create the effect at 0:23?

Sounds like a pulse with C and P commands. I had it saved somewhere in a random jam but I can't find it.

Much obliged

Just like math you have several methodes to do the same thing. Create a new instrument with another envelop, put a command in the table, or put commands right there in the phase screen.

It's really handy for when your table is full, or you ran out of instruments. I think it's more demanding of your CPU this way.

Oh shit I suck at this.
I tried to explain that imo, everything, on its own, too some extent, is a stage prop.
Like, Slayer doesn't use just any electric guitar, they have to look kind of Slayer too.
If you choose between the gameboy and the realistic VST, the gameboy will have some level of "stage prop".

I'm not into using props myself, but I do love your flashing sunglasses, you sexy bastard.

EDIT:shit, just realized. If it's powered through the NES. Maybe that's just for sound recognition. But maybe it will be more silent when not plugged in a NES.

Hmmm... I wonder if a Google search would get me more information than this:

The LaserScope was powered through the audio port of the NES, which enabled the user to hear the game audio as well.

Odd, totally read over it :S

It's a horrible piece of junk. I've heard it's the most accurate 'zapper' around but the voice activation is just stupid. I think you did have the game sound in your headphones so no bothering other people in the room with the NES-music. Which seems kind of stupid to say here, but I think that's a plus.

It could function as a normal headphone so I'm curious if it can beat monitors in terms of loudness/clearness for beatmatching/mixing reasons. I don't find my link cable and LSDJ sync to be sufficient, I loop some phrases and mute some channels to get the right transition. Kind of like a regular dj. So I use headphones all the time, and I thought, well, *maybe*, it would be a -little- bit, you know, maybe, funny (?) to use the laserscope as a regular headphone.

Also, stage props are stupid.

I agree, but there's lots of stuff out there. Backlits, promods, fluo headbands, Gatari. And we'd have to admit the DMG on it's own is kind of a stage prop. I wouldn't want to use FLstudio with a perfectly realistic sounding VST, I want that gameboy.

So, can anybody see if that's a regular red rca plug on that picture? Can anybody confirm that it can function like a headphone, and would it be loud enough to use it as a DJ headphone during a live gig?
