Also, no CC control on it.

My buddy got one and promptly brought it over for a jam session. Did not work. Very disappointing.

Next time you're looking up here, drop the word. MJP always has a slot in Portland.

Everything midi-able to everything. Getting a CZ1 and Arturia Spark to add soon.

MidiNES, Juno 106, PSS480, MS2000, MMT8, various Casiotones, and a coupla Gameboys. Because, you know, chiptune.

EDIT - oh yeah, and QS7.1

This is what I use with my MidiNES. Light, reliable, 8ch, fully programmable, and the manual is attached to the damn thing.

Highly recommended.

I play about a show a month and can make anywhere from 30-100 bux a show including album sales. The $500 a year figure seems pretty consistent with those who are serious about playing shows and making music.

Its also a game of always keeping yourself available for shows. Never say no but always require at least a little from the door. If its a free/charity gig, most people don't mind covering gas if you're driving a distance.

Don't do it for the money. There isn't much.

Looks awesome but the red text panics me as it was the sign you were about to die in Dragon Warrior.

I feel one of these threads pops up a few times a year. Anyways. Yeah. Here too!

Can't wait for this. Also, price for the screening is $7 - $5 with student ID. Its the standard for the the theatre.

You know, where as I agree Nex is great, he has a bunch of competition. Most of which are also just chock full of souls.

Also, I am currently planning a large chipshow (Micropalooza) which will hopefully include artists from every part of the US. Also, a showing of Reformat the Planet is going down on July 10th at the Hollywood Theatre.
