Just found a bug so far as I can tell. (sorry for double post, different post for a different topic).

I'm using chrome 5.0.375.53 and for some reason it's not allowing me to stream songs. It shows the play button, but the flash app is greyed out and won't play. I'm running the latest version of flash and it works fine in both IE and Firefox, but not chrome. Sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere.

to play devil's advocate, im using the newest version of chrome w/o problems.
zef, what version of the flash player are you using?
perhaps upgrading to the newest version will fix the issue.

Shriker I cant use chrome either it's always slow then crashes me

that's so odd.
i have heard that a lot since it was released.
in the first version there was a really bad bug
that caused crashes and freeze-ups. but since
version 3 it's been nothing but aces for me.

all we need is a dynamic xml feed of all the music in the archive.
if we had a simple API for searching, or limiting results, the
entire archive could be played in one large web application
(like flash or javascript) or in stand alone players like winamp.

i could totally make this happen.

My original idea for this was to let certain tags be platform tags, other software tags, yet other genre tags. They would work exactly like any other tag, but the tags would be shown in groups for easy access, in tho song listing page, on individual song pages etc. What thinks?

this is awesome.

Xero, do you know where I might buy one of those Mega Memory Cards? Sounds like that might also be a decent solution if I can get my hands on one.

just google "mega memory card" or "game boy mega memory card", and yew will find them...
i got mine on amazon.com new for $10.

I did find one interesting tidbit from Bit Shifter on the LSDJ wiki regarding the Mega Memory Card: "Using the Megamemory Card with the big grey classic Game Boy can be risky. My first backup attempt (using an old grey Game Boy) resulted not only in the loss of a song but in some kind of corruption of my LSDj cart. Megamemory Cards seem to work fine on Game Boy Pocket and Game Boy Color."

yes, that is very true.
i have used mine on the DMG and it worked fine.
but i have a pocket that only functions as my backup utility.

i use a mega memory card to backup my saves on my non usb carts.

but, if you also have a usb cart, you can backup both carts on
the mega memory card. then put the non usb save on the usb
cart, then sync the cart w/ the computer. i know it sounds round
about, but it's what works cheaply for me.

also,
DTMF, dual-tone multi-frequency? ;D
that was my old handle back in the fone phreakin' days ;D

hey,
so i'm in the market for a mixer, and need suggestions (links).

first off i will need at minimum 4 inputs, but i would prefer 6 (not counting mics).
also preferably all 1/8" jacks  (but i cant get 1/8-rca cables if i have to, no big deal)
i also use a KP-3 from time to time, and i'd like a mixer that could use it's capabilities,
but not be a >$1000 korg beast. also it needs to be table top, not rack mount.

so something small i can get my mix on with.
thanx a lot in advance.
