So, I've done an LED mod before, but it's been a while, and I wasn't that greatly happy with the results. I was wondering what methods people prefer for doing this mod, cause she looks so sweet when done right.

Also I'll hate on Bukowski 4 Natty: His entire body of writing is just trying to live up to John Fante. Bukowski is like if Fante never edited anything, couldn't get over him self, soaked his whole body of work in booze and misogyny that was really just a bratty plea for who knows what kind of basic help, and only remembered that he was a good writer for about about ten lines every two chapters/five poems. But those ten lines are golden. I'd say that's pretty close to what kind of a writer Bukowski is. Pulp, the last thing he ever wrote, is probably the only good thing he ever wrote.

You can buy kits to make pocket amps for like 5$. Requires some soldering but allows you to make an amp out of almost any speaker you can find. They sell them at my school in the music department. Literally in a giant vending machine (the kits not finished) Mine looks like this:
There are two holes behind the output jack to wire in a speaker. Just go to a thrift store. Buy a speaker in a box for like 2-3$ (you can find great old ones in wood boxes for super cheap) and BLAMO amazing DIY amp that only needs a 9v battery.

@ Hot Mess: Good luck man. Hope a happy and speedy rejuvenation comes your way. Though I haven't been privy to any change as of late, being a bit absent from 8 bit things lately, I've appreciated a lot you've said and contributed in the past, and for one, think it takes a lot to openly say, "I'm sorry, here's the deal, will be back when I can." Kudos, in the deepest, truest, original sense of the word. My heart and thoughts go out to you.
@George, if it didn't greatly affect you, especially given the circumstances, I see no reason to advise someone to do something different. Whatever "discomforting" effect you experienced, I doubt it was oh so impacting that it warranted a pseudo-admonishment. In the future, I advise that you weigh the discomfort of reading something against the discomfort of experiencing something, and reflect upon it for a moment before commenting.
